  1. Eaton 3 speed worked as follows LO-both rears in low range Intermediate-one rear in high the other locked out High-one rear in high the other locked out Basically two two-speed rears with the same low ratio and different high ratio
  2. were 335 cummins engines reliable? What are the differences between a 262 and a 335? Are there any known problems to making a b73 into a b773 by simply installing a 335 as long as it has the cast radiator. Thanks
  3. You are exactly right, a quad is not a quad. Not all quads used the same sequence hence 14spd, 18spd, 20spd. You have to know your ratio list before you can figure out what you can use and what you can't. I bought a '60 B613 witha 20spd when I was 18 yrs old and had it down in no time. Once you get the feel it sure is a lot of fun!
  4. I just sold my '88 RW713 E9 500 (out of a Magnum) 12 spd. I loved the truck and an e9 will definately outpull a 460 especially if it has been tweeked. I had 4.42 rears on 11R24.5 tires and the motor was set to 2100rpm. Top speed was about 75mph but it would pull with anything, it just liked fuel too much and mine was very reliable, but repairs get very costly!
  5. To my knowledge all 350's used frontal air to air. I also think all mack engines after 1981 used air to air except for 237's.
  6. Were all b model cab interiors green from the factory or were there exceptions?
  7. Could someone please tell me the particular cummins engines offered in each of the respective models? B733-, B77-, B773- Thanks
