  6. personally i think the poster has no idea what he wants either, go and by a peterbilt . if you cant tell how much diffrence is bettween a r700 and a mk 2 superdog then mate i refer you back too what i allready stated go and buy a peterbilt, this is not a negative response , even in australia there is no resale in old kenworths like you have its a 15,000 dollar truck ,i personally like your ride, now on the other hand a superliner sells between 40-70,000 dollars there is a bicentenial for sale at the moment asking price half a million dollars (and no this is not a missprint),you keep refering to A model i assume you mean a w900 A KENWORTH ,all in all its up too you but you seem to have some weird ideas mate..........my two cents...spud

  10. sounds like a lot of oil has got into your air system mate! pour some metho in your wet tank and into your maxitorqe filters it should work .we had the same problem on a v8 valueliner "crook aircompressor" other than the first option the only other alternative is too take of your relay valves and clean them out.
  11. why dont volvo just fess up to their dirty little secret....THEY DONT WANT MACK TRUCKS AROUND ANYMORE. they got what they wanted a increased share in the heavy truck market, its the same old story big corparate european money takes over everything. you know what we say SCREW VOLVO AND THE BOAT THEY CAME ON....... LONG LIVE MACK. SPUD
  12. ozrad, the amount of money you are going to have to outlay too shorten that r-model will be huge ....... your better off just grinning and bearing it .i dont know what rates you guys are on over east but,i think at this stage of the game i would be probably bee looking for a shorter tipper body.
  13. well you just made the statment that mack engines are being the tesr "whores' .well mate this is the reason most aussie operators i know are switching to other truck brands as the new mack/volvo product is utter shit.try and come up with all the excuses you like their new breed engines are rubbish . no good for aussie conditions at all. there all good if you spend 90 percent of the time on the tarmac . all i can say is thanks VOLVO for ruining another legendary brand... R.I.P REAL MACK TRUCKS.
