found one that week-end, it's a 1952 with a 250 cummins, full steel bud and rockwell on the back (look similar to a Mack diff) with spring.. started to be restored couple years ago but never finish.. no sleeper and it's in Quebec Canada...
-
not because it's a Mack that it's suppose to look like a big foot!! it's an highway tractor.. not a recovery truck!! get that thing low and it will kick any petercars ass by far!! this truck is perfect, in my opinion, am i the only one??
-
will bet they're all on the driver side, it's a 2'' tube that start from the valve cover and pass near oil filter and let's blo-by goes free in the air
-
humm, i'm pretty sure that it might be compressor gasket or power steering pump gasket. blow by tube is on the other side of the engine on an e7 near oil filter???
-
hey, what happens to the flasher on the fender??? don't need this stuff in USA???
-
don't know from where this one is from, but it worth the ride!!
-
take a look at fergus truck show.. might be during that time.. they have a website just search fergus truck show.. sled pulling and things like that... never been there but it looks interesting
-
check the height of your susp. if it's air ride... check your tires, might be as stupid as a bump in one!!

i know a guy here in Quebec that have bunch of new parts for midliner... interested??
-
haha, 30 years ago the wagon was¸probably in front of a church!!!
-
sorry but I kind like the old one better

before changing any parts, try to change the filter on the back of your tranny (spin-on filter), look for any air leak and I don't where you're located but is that possible that there is humidity in your line and it start to freeze??
-
yeah really looks like set-up we have here in Qc.. the only strange thing is no truck company makes it this way.. you have to bring the truck into a specific shop and then they convert it. Mack will be the first one to make a 4 axle truck like this for Qc!! I believe that in Georgia laws are similar to Qc for load spand on a truck so maybe it was going down in gGeorgia.. all US trucks run second axle without any steer rod but we are obligated to put one down here.. DMM were using spring on both axle, but on second axle you have less spring and an air bag.. help a lot on job site because you can release pressure in the bag and gain more traction on other wheels...

as idiot as adding a Cadillac emblem on a rusted import car... poor old Mack, still bringing money home for a dumb guy ;p

does it worth it? how it's better then stock?

take a look in my album... I have one on my R model... now it's off the truck...is in a pretty good shape and red leather interior that match '85 Mack red interior...
-
AC still workin? might interest me if it's in a good shape...
-
nice catch!! would you turn it into a Rubber duck replica?
-

the small box that control it all is in the cab in the corner right above the clutch pedal in an R model.. don't know why but one of mine have it near heater motor...
