  1. Here ya go Rob, this is more to your liking.
  2. The 50th Winternationals in Pomona are coming up in a couple weeks. I can't wait! I lost all interest in NASCAR, it's now a wussy sport with too much focus on safety and worried about hurting someone's feelings. I prefer good ole dirt track racing over NASCAR anyday. At least them dirt boys ain't wussies!
  3. I hear the problem is due to a lack of an RF shield or something like that.
  4. There is some truth to that it seems and I didn't know ADM hired driver's right out of school.
  5. They always say your better off going to a community college who offers a CDL program over a CDL mill and that is true.
  6. I'm everyone's friend.
  7. Well I've driven trucks since I was oh around 16. I hooked and unhooked trailers. I just never backed up with a trailer and never driven a truck on the road that is all. Shifting won't be a problem for me since I been practicing the basics for the past 3 years now. The community college use to offer truck driving training but they dropped it and the closest community college is 2 hours away. Believe it or not the guy at the CDL school was upfront and honest with me, ya know he told me I wouldn't be able to get a job due to my age which I already knew that and he was actually impressed I was going to college and getting a degree. He was a real nice down to earth fella. He didn't try to rush or anything like that. Here is the link to the school. Premier CDL They also have locations at 3 community colleges up near Chicago in Kankakee and Freeport with the other one being in Champaign. The Granite City one is just a standalone not affiliated with a community college. There was another school where they were at but the owner retired and my mom knew the instructor who ran it and now the school running it now took it over. I already got my permit and I tried the learning on someone else equipment part as well but their insurance won't let them or some other excuse ya know. I'm not too thrilled on learning on an pre 97 International 9400 though because in the other topic I posted was because of how high the clutch sits and how far it goes in, not short people friendly. Ya know funny thing is my dad who has always been against me driving a truck asked me last night if the community college I'm going to offered a CDL course, he told me my best bet is to go to a school, which honestly I have to agree with him. That really took my by surprise myself.
  8. CSA 2010 In a nut shell CSA 2010 is gonna bring about more auditing of carriers whose rating and driver's rating are not good due to log books, accidents, inspection, and out of service violations. Also things such as log book, accident, and out of service violations will affect the driver's more than ever now.
  9. With CSA 2010 coming around the corner I think my best bet is to go to a truck driving school and give them my money. I already got my permit so hopefully I can get more seat time in.
  10. Conservative women but there some guys on there too.
  11. It's a Conservative forum your neither Republican nor Democrat.
  12. I thought GM still used a linkeage. I bet the problem is Toyota didn't use a RF shield to protect the system from interference.
  13. Toyota's solution to the problem...Remove the floor mats. What is that gonna do? Nothing, they used a faulty computer and blame it on floor mats. At least the Big 3 still use a good old mechanical linkage on their gas pedals. What are we gonna do when everything on a car is computerized? We'll be in a death trap for sure.
  14. Here y'all go, I'm apart of this forum. Conservababes
  15. I wasn't trying to say all people under 30 don't have a clue about politics. I was mainly stating a fact and you all know it's true. I feel there should be a current events test to determine your qualification to vote.
  16. No they won't Rowdy unless they are black conservatives and we are a rare breed. Most blacks seem to want hand outs and I agree with everything Bill Cosby said. Funny thing is it's Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson who are keeping racism alive and making blacks hate whites. I don't even watch BET, I haven't watched BET since Viacom bought them out. I remember when BET first started they had good educational shows on there now they got nothing but rap videos and just making black people look like a bunch of ghetto monkeys. I never supported someone just because they are black. If I agree with their views on issues then yeah I will support them but if we don't agree then I won't support them. It's just as simple as that. Then again I'm an open minded educated American.
  17. I feel there should be a current events test because most people under the age of 30 don't know what is going on in the world and is only voting for a candidate because they are with the party they support. We need to stop voting for candidates based on what party they are in. Instead we need to vote for the individual whose ideas we like and who stands for the issues we are concerned about. If you ask me neither Democrats or Republicans are for the American people any more. The Democrats and Republicans are infected with Progressives who don't give a damn about the American people but instead of lining their pockets with money from the lobbyist. It's about time we got those empty suits out of DC and put every day American citizens in DC who will uphold our Constitution, values, and morals of our country. Not some brain dead Liberal/Socialist who wants to ban guns because they "kill" people. Guns don't kill people it's those who are deranged and have mental problems who kill people. It's like blaming the pencil for writing, it takes someone to make the pencil write. The pencil doesn't write on it's own. That is the problem with Liberals and Liberalism they are trying to protect us from ourselves. Look at it this way. American football plays wear protective gear, they think they can play harder but end up injuring themselves. In Australia they don't wear any protective gear and they rarely get hurt. When you start protecting people you make them take bigger risks than if they were not protected at all. It's like seat belts and air bags, sure they save lives but people take unneeded risk and as a result end up hurt or dead. It's like cell phones with people texting and driving. We don't need laws banning texting and driving instead if people used common sense and realized the dangers it wouldn't be a problem but everyone is so caught up in texting they don't concentrate on driving. The cell phones don't kill people the person using it and not paying attention is what kills people. You can ban things all you want but until you focus on the root the problem, the people, things won't change at all. So making new laws regulating this and that is not the way to go. Instead that increases rebellion and people will do it even more. Remember when growing up and our mother's told us not to touch the stove. We did it anyway and as a result we got hurt and learned a lesson or maybe not. But still when you tell someone no your tempting them to do it even more.
  18. I was listening to the black radio station today and they are still gaga over Obama. They don't care what he is doing to the country because he is a black man and that seems to trump over everything including common sense.
  19. Living life is deadly! With that said we only got one chance at life so we need to stop being pansy's and enjoy it because we never know when our last day will be.
  20. I'm a conservative myself and like Rowdy I don't care for either party as they are both corrupt. I hope Illinois goes back to being a conservative manufacturing state again but I doubt that'll happen with the the 51st state to our north.....Chicago.
  21. Is this why so many school kids and truck driver's are overweight or obese? This is a waste of money and a stupid study.
