  1. Thanks, externally it looks like a 711 with the style of intake manifolds, but it is stamped on the block ENDL673
  2. Can anyone tell me what the difference is between a END673 and ENDL673? What does the L mean?
  3. I have a NH-230 and a NH-250 with PT pump and cam operated injectors, and NTC-290 and NTC-400 with the same PT pump and injectors.
  4. I'm looking for a decent running end673 or endt673 for my B-65. I'm pretty sure I have a blown piston in mine from over use of starting fluid. If you have one available, please advise. If it is not running, possibly using for parts. I can't seem to locate any replacement parts for the 673 without modifications to the engine. Haven't been able to find a decent used engine within 200 miles of Maryland. Thanks, Bob
  5. Is this truck still around? Does it have a 673 that runs?
  6. Thanks Fred. I'll try your picture with the decal folks I use. Do you have anyway to find out the name of the place in Fairfax that produced the decal for your friend? That would make it easier because they have already digitized the image. I appreciate it.
  7. Fred got the blue background for his trailer. I knew Fred and have one of his trucks. Fred got the logo from Chuck at Jack of Arts, but it was hand painted on aluminum. I need a good digital photo to be able to make decals. Chuck is also looking for me, but has not come-up with anything yet. Thanks
  8. Also the grey background was used on tractors and straight trucks and the dark blue background was used on trailers.
  9. I would appreciate any help. A good close-up digital photo will work. I am in Maryland which is not far from Fairfax. Do you know the place where he had it made? Thanks, Bob
  10. I'm restoring a B-65 that was originally a Mason Dixon Lines tractor. I'm trying to find anyone with good close-up photos of the door logo for Mason dixon, that can be digitally reproduced for decals. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Bob
  11. Not sure what you mean by "PM", but how about scanning as an attachment by E-mail? I do have a fax but it uses my home phone and have to set a time to snd so I can turn the machine on.The wire that was attached to the Batt terminal on the regulator was clearly not original and was reading 24v on a volt meter, so that alone makes me suspect how the batteries are connected. I haven't had time to trace back the cables to the switch, but I want to make sure everything is connected correctly. Electrical fires aren't fun. Bob
  12. Thanks Rob for the help. Everything appears to be original except the previous owner had spliced a wire with 24v to the bat side of the regulator. It probably fried the regulator but until I can get the time to play and connect the proper wire using the wiring diagram, I won't be able to tell what's damaged. Also looking at the wiring diagram I got in the wiki section, the wire connections to the batteries don't show the polarity of the battery posts. Not to trouble you but can you tell me from that picture the polarity of which wires to which posts so that I can first make sure the batteries are connected properly. Always start at the source and work your way out! Thanks again for the help, Bob
  13. Rob, is the voltage regulator and generator supposed to operate at 12v or 24v? Is there an easy way to convert the whole mess to 12v, either + or - ground? I read your reply on polarizing the generator, but I'm not sure if you polarize it with 12v or 24v. Kind of a confusing setup! Thanks for your help, Bob
  14. Thanks, I found it. Always ready to learn something new.
  15. Thanks for the help Rob. It gives me a little more insight as to what I'm dealing with. I am new to the site and was unable to find the diagram you mentioned in the help section. I searched for B61 wiring diagram and nothing came up. Any ideas? I can see I have my work cut out for me with this beast. I am used to military 24v systems, which are more cut and dried, but I always like learning something new!
  16. Hi, I bought a 1959 B-61 that I need a little help to determine what voltage and ground it's supposed to be. It is currently wired for 24v and positive ground. Is this correct? It has a rebuilt starter and works very well, almost too well as it turns the engine over very fast. Makes me think it should be 12 volts. It shows no charge on the ammeter, and when I put a volt meter on it, also no charge. I haven't as of yet found a manual or wiring diagram for it, so until I do can anyone give me some insight? Thanks, Bob
  17. Hi guys, It's a 300 engine with 9 speed Mack direct. All the manuals I saw on ebay had Mack part numbers, which I couldn't recognize. Any one know what that might be for a 300? Also would that be an E6 or E7 engine? Thanks
  18. Hi, new to the site and new to an 84 MH613 I just got. Where can I get info on this truck, specs, repair manuals, etc?
