  1. Original owner went to school with me, and he is looking for it to see if he can buy it back. Their terminal was in Bensalem Pa, but they had some in Jersey too
  2. I never understand why people do stuff like this. It's like they put extra effort into making their rigging weaker. This is how people get killed
  3. Picture from facebook. V8 with a 29,000 lbs single axle. How it was done back in the day in a steel town
  4. Damn, are those 55,000 rears?? To put a set of CRD 92-93s in those you had to change the side gears so the axle would fit. Normally those would have CRD 112-113 in them
  5. Older style PT pump with the round cover. No built in AFC
  6. That long power divider was used until about the mid 60's. As far as I remember it was a cam and buttons setup like the later ones with the shorter power divider
  7. Forgot all about the double Huskies lol. But I remember that clearly now. I guess drove that truck like 40 years ago
  8. Thought maybe he was "Black Irish" That is what my mom always said my dad was lol
  9. Everybody looks Irish' The 55,000 rears look so unusual under a Cruiseliner. In the US they were all pretty much 12 front and 38 rears
  10. I drove one years ago. Had a 5 speed main and a wide ratio 2 speed rear. The ratio spacing was like a full gear, so you didn't split it. It was more or less just a low hole. I think Brockway called them CT270 or Huskidrive
  11. @Brocky What did Brockway call that? Was it the Huskydrive? Had a powerband like a Maxidyne
  12. Yeah I had some in some 70's era IHC. Could even be a PT 270
  13. If that aux trans has an overdrive of about 0.66 to 1 that would get you to 70 something on 11r24.5s
  14. I was thinking 290, the 335 should have an aftercooler
  15. The crd 92 and 93 are later production than the axle housings. Notice the missing bolt? There is no hole under it. They fit, but you had to skip a couple holes. I did it on a few, and never had a problem
  16. Patel & Singh Transport and Abud Abi Trucking have some for sale that already have holes cut in the bottom
  17. I more or less hate all celebrities, pro athletes, musicians, the news anchors, anything Hollywood,, most salesdouches, and anyone else that tries to BS me. I wouldn't take time out of my day to pizz on any of them if they were on fire
  18. I did away with TV about 10 years ago. Too many liberal turds saying stuff that Pizzed me off. Always loved The Trailer Park Boys. Used to be able to get full episodes for free
  19. Yeah that was the 1st number that popped in my head, then I thought a bit more, plus the trip to go look at it, and a couple nights motel stay
  20. If they hurt the kitties I'm going postal
  21. Now they have gone too far
  22. Small hats
  23. I'd be great to use driving on the wrong side of the road while upside down like our friend Skippy
  24. I'm pretty sure the only difference between the 6 and 12 are the field coils. That being said I've done a lot of conversions and left the 6v starter. I figured I'd change them when they burned out. They never burned out though. They start so fast that they don't have time to get hot. Not sure if you know starters, But they are "series wound" and are kinda insensitive to voltage. That is opposed to "shunt wound" DC motors where you have a bit more speed control. Only permanent magnet motors are sensitive to polarity and will spin the wrong way. Series and shunt motors you have to swap the field leads to make them reverse
