I drove a Volvo With a Eaton Super 10 lightning. Made for lite duty hauling. I actually loved the super 10 once I got the hang of it.

AWESOME PICS Other Dog! Thanks for posting.
What's with the roof on the green CH??
Looks like it had an Air Dam on it and the Cab lights were built into it. They just haven't gotten around to changing the lights over to roof mount and just cut the air dam off to a certain point. I've seen a lotta guys do that

Oh, I almost forgot about the part bad enough I can’t stand my job at all but I’m stuck sitting there in those trucks for nine hours a day. Can’t get out to do anything or get any exercise sitting in the same spot all day long way too long. 16 more months I will be saying goodbye for good ha ha I know that probably all sounds weird to you … Bob
Yeah I'm addicted to it and prolly going to be doin' it to it till they tell me I can't do it to it no more

So next week starts the first county fair of fair season around us in Midwest Ohio. The Green Hornet is still in pieces in our shop so I'm still hauling loads with our truck Dubbed "The Bulldog Truck". So today was the parade to kick off fair week. My Daddy came over and rode along and we had a great time.

I like big straight pipes but I'm no monkey so I don't need a post to hang from lol. Yup yup these guys buy these 2 and 3 stick kits and call themselves truck drivers. If they had to drive a real 2 or 3 stick truck they probably couldn't git it outta the garage 🙄

RubberDuck... I love a mack,, trust me,, But I will run a 12.7 DD any day,, all day.. If My Bossman said,,, This is your truck!! and it happens to be an FLD 120,, i'm In !!!
I owned a '99 Century for a short time, and drove quite a few of them.. Yes it's a plastic truck, but in todays world, I bet it is affordable.. Opinion's are alway's welcomed.. Jojo
14.0 L Is good too but I dont want EGR..
I drove a 1993 Peterbilt 379 with a 60 series Detroit and a 15spd Deep reduction. She looked like she were straight outta a Jerry Reed movie lol. 70 was top speed but she did it right in the mud with a load of logs on. The 14.0L I experienced was in a 2006 Coronado. That truck would flat git it Son. I went 14 miles in less than 10mins l. Friend of mine was following me and she backed out of it at 75mph and I was still pulling away from her before she backed outta it lol

Problem with the 505 hp MP8 was head issues from what I heard. I've always said bigger horses lead to bigger problems. Like these guys with these 6nz cats I've done the same exact work with less horse and less cost of parts etc. Gimme a 2005 60 series Detroit any day 515hp from the factory and 7-8mpg whether loaded or empty.

Yup no Teflon in any high pressure situation.

My Grandpa worked at The Ford Engine Plant here In Lima, Ohio. Had a guy that used the same welder as my Grandpa but on 1st shift. Grandpa would come in and reset the machine 🙄 in order to do his work. My Grandpa kindly asked the gentleman if he would please put the welder settings back the way he found them when he ended his shift. The guy cussed at my Grandpa and threw a fit. So my Grandpa really fixed him.......At the end of his Shift that night my Grandpa took the leads of the welder off and put a Dab of Superglue on each post then put The leads back on,Tightened them down, and went home. Came back the next day and the guy was Mad and Said "It took us almost half a day to git that welder going" That wasn't funny. My Grandpa just smiled and said well next time you'll put the machine back the way you found it!!! And walked away laughing

Well The truck is all ready to Celebrate Memorial day. The red white and blue will fit in well . The true reason i do the parade is ive had may family Members serve in our Military and Without their sacrifice and the fellow soldiers that served with them and after We wouldn’t be able to have our freedom. Yes this Currently administration may be dumb but when you git down to the brass tacks America is STILL the Greatest Nation on Earth.

I stop by the shop to see the progress on The Green Hornet. Mechani. Had the Rubber flooring and both seats out. He scrubbed down the metal underneath. He's gittin ready to drop the transmission tomorrow. The new radiator is in. The new DPF can should be in any day now. Also he said after She's back together and gits a bath he's going to polish all the Chrome for me and make it look like a true Show work truck.

I used to be in a local July 4 th parade years back. Had about 5 trucks from local chapter get in it. The g/f always loved doing it and wishes we could do them again. It was always tough as we'd get home from my race at like 2am, sleep for 3 hrs and get up and get to the staging for the parade. She likes throwing candy to the kids and waving to everyone. I'd run the air compressor ragged with the constant horn blowing.
Yeah we do the Memorial day parade then The local fair Parade We love it. The kids love hearing the Air horn and Seeing my riding companion Milo lol. They forget about the candy when they see him!!

For what it's worth... Iv'e seen you post your wishes a few times.. Get dialed in, and buy a truck.. You need one.. I suggest a W-900L or a 379... Just my opinion.. I love Mack's, but to find a CH/CX-613 with a 460/13 spd. and Eaton 390's or smaller, may be hard to find.. Hell,, I don't know... just ramblin'.. jojo
I've got my eye on an R model Mack with a flat top bunk down in West Virginia

No she's actually still in the shop. It's been 3months and 11 days now. They had to pull her back apart to drop the oil pan(Which the mechanic should've done to begin with since the Air Compressor blew) and they found Metal in the oil pan. So yeah.
