  1. I'm sorry if it came across as if I was crying about the picture I posted I don't care what people do with their stuff. I was just giving my honest opinion on something that was up forsale and in my opinion was a waste of a truck especially one I'm kinda fond of. Now if I was into sled pulling or drag racing maybe my opinion would be alil different 🤔. But I neither have the time or money for such hobbies lol.

In the interest of pissing off those out there that swear two stroke mechanical assholes are the second coming of Christ- I absolutely, completely, wholly and totally endorse the blowing up of anything painted alpine green. The only good Detroit is one with a hole through the side of the block.

As for the rat rod- it's his money, he can do what he wants with it. If guys didn't want that done to old trucks, they should have gotten their wallets out when it was for sale.

Also I didn't see it up forsale before it got hacked into a Ratrod. To each there own.

  3. I don't think 2 strokes are the second coming. But I grew up hearing about the 318 or 8v71 from Grandpa as he drove a GMC cabover with one in it for Schwerman trucking back when they had a terminal here in Lima,Ohio. I'm kinda fond of them and do like the way they sound that and the old Cummins  as well.

Well that's how it works when you git blessed with a Show Dog Company truck lol. Maybe one of these days I will have my own but for now I'm satisfied with my company truck.123_1.thumb.jpeg.f654f9f41de1d9fa5ad029a1002dfcc9.jpeg

Rubber Duck, looks like we're both correct. Here's the car that Bill Patch built and gave to Johnny Cash. It's a three door Cady and it's in a museum in Bon Aqua, Tn. The one above was built for a publicity tour and was destroyed at the end of the tour.

I couldn't remember exactly who built it I remember my Grandpa and his Best Friend Opry singer Charlie Louvin talking about it.

a single stack Mack with a genny on the back??? 🤣

"I like the Ford pickup in the background as well. Is that a 79 f150?"
close. 78 F250 2 wheel drive trailer special.

that is  a parts truck for the 79 F350 4 wheel drive Camper special.

i actually had another 79, a 4 wheel F350 trailer special, but i sold that one last year.

Nice I love them old Trucks like that. It was hard to tell the year especially with the square headlights. Towards the end of 78 they started changing to the squares instead of the rounds. Also the 78 year trucks tended to not rust out as fast or as bad as the 79s. Lol

  7. Yes Sir that's how I was able to get my CDL. I went to a Vocational trade school here in Ohio my Junior and senior year of school. Instead of paying almost 6,000 dollars to go to their Driving School I only had to pay about 95 bucks for a Drug test to be able to use the school's truck and also paid for my test. I had to take er twice and the school paid for the first test. I took Construction Equipment Operations and learned how to efficiently run alot of equipment and Drive truck. Wouldn't change it for Nothing. Infact sometimes I wish I could go back to them days lol.

I'd go with the dual set upwards.

That was a lucky shot- Zina saw it first and said "here comes a cabover". I just happened to have my phone in my hand looking for something on Google maps so I was able to get that picture. If I hadn't had it in my hands I would have never gotten it in time.

I have a radar when it comes to Cabovers!! I see them then have to clean my slobber of my steering wheel

  10. Yeah it's pretty butchered they replaced the dash with the Chevy pickup dash. The bed isn't mounted very well. It'd be one I'd save the cab and bunk, build a road tractor, and scrap the rest.
