  1. I thought international at first, but there was no badging at all. The ex mil tractor next to it had the axles chained, maybe to keep the axles from wrapping?. The sign on the lot stated 'everything on this lot is for sale', at the time there was no room for this beast.
  2. Photo taken about 15 years ago, Taylor crane and rigging, Coffeyville ks.
  3. Just saw the weight of the 8.3 it may be a bit much for the pw
  4. Thanks for the replies. I looked at it in the dark last night, ran great, couldn't drive because the clutch slave is shot. Speaking of shot, the cab is pretty far gone around the door sills anyways. if it's still for sale next week I'll check it out in the daylight to make sure the cabs not fixing to fall off 😬 The dump bed is really nice shape, it may be worth it for the bed and engine/tranny (I'm wanting to put a cummins in my 63 1ton power wagon)
  5. 91. Looks the same but a bit rougher looking. The only thing I have found is it's hot a vw/man cab. The seller says it has a cummins engine.
  6. Anybody have experience with one of these. I found a dump truck pretty local for a decent price, but Google show almost nothing with a search. Are parts available? Thanks
  7. Looks like you got a cheap workhorse. And congrats for getting it for next to nothing👍
  8. Thanks for the info. Maybe he'll chime in. John Edit, I've found other post/pics of it on the net, its bodies pretty gone.
  9. I don't know if these came with just the short wheelbase or not. I see how it tapers down to the smaller rails.

  11. Thanks, was up till 0130 going thru the site.
  12. I'm needing a dump truck. There's a fairly inexpensive B81 on fb (under 10k) the add says it runs good but prolly would need everything else. Not wanting a project, I figure anything I get will need tires at least, but not wanting to get into brakes etc right off the bat. it would be for personal use, (non commercial in kansas) but will still have to go thru inspection, so will have to keep away from junk frames. I'm also checking out a DM800 in PA (guy also has an Autocar with quadbox) and there's a couple of closer R models but the adds are vague.
  13. Hello, new guy checking in. Not a Mack owner but I'm in the market for a dump truck. I drove a single axle triplex B model a couple times in about '82 whilst the regular IH was getting its engine rebuilt, and have been interested in macks and old trucks since I was a kid. There's alot of stuff in the northeast, any guesses on what it cost to ship a truck to SE kansas? Thanks, John
