Typically when a healthy turbo leaks oil is when it’s been idled too long and oil leaks past the sealing ring because it’s not Slinging oil, it has coking of the oil inside on the ring, or the drain tube is blocked causing oil to back up and push out. That’s if it’s the turbo leaking. From what you stated your positive it’s the turbo.

Since you haven’t had any recent repairs and don’t have PTT. I would suggest starting to look at modules connectors, pins, and harness’s for a start. Also the VECU is programmed to perform several functions including starter control and ignition key switch. Hopefully some more guys that have a lot more knowledge on this will have some input for you. Joey is one of them. 

Is the air dryer purging? Any recent repairs to the air system?

Usually white smoke is coolant…Check for restriction in oil return line. This may turn out to be pretty expensive being you got oil in the after treatment system.

44ft/lb with 120 degree, is about if not 180 ft/lb. 

I’d suggest taking the time to really dry the cab out and then seeing what happens with the gauges. Either way that should be done.

Also from what I’ve seen when gauges get all whacky like that it’s either bad ground or low voltage. 

Is that condensation on the inside or outside of the gauges? I see the rain droplets on the windshield. If it’s on the inside you may have found your issue…or where to really start looking anyway. 

I believe there are 2 plugs on the back of the block inline with the EUP’s. Also I think there is one on the front of the block above the crankcase vent canister lid. Or you could tee a gauge into the outlet of the lift pump. 

Actually you are probably correct on the circuit board…yea electrical and diagnosing over the internet is a bad combo. 

How are things going? Have you considered trying a switch?

I was thinking the same thing about the gear slipping as well. Def sounds fuel related. 

Also have you tried wiggling wires yet? Haha

This as well…I’m not to familiar with this model truck, so my input will be limited in some areas. Also was the “click” mechanical sounding or like an electrical arc click?

Sounds like a relay or circuit breaker

You can switch them over to a standard clutch cable as well too.
