What have you checked/replaced so far??

Lmao! That’s amazing…🤣

Typically what I have seen when the cartridge needs changed is that it’s slow to build or won’t build air at all. Could be governor, purge valve, unloader valve stuck, or you have a decent air leak between the compressor and air dryer. Just to name a few things…does the truck build air, does it build at a normal rate, does the compressor cut out at its normal psi? Anything been done to the truck before this issue started?

You cant completely wear out a rd mack anyway so i would just fix as needed
Ain’t the truth. even if you tried…

Oil filter housing

Wouldn’t he be seeing bubbles/pushing coolant regardless of being loaded or not if combustion gas was working its way into the system?
-
Yea the MPs from what I have seen tend to run around that for oil temp.

250 is normal oil temp for summer time.

Beginning Injection Pressure. There is a special tool for this I believe. It will check the EUP response time and voltage.

Just a quick idea here…maybe the the speed sensor?
-
Also, if you decide to tackle this job you will need a wheel seal if you are replacing both bearings…which id imagine you would be.
-
-
Maybe take it apart and inspect the bearing and also make sure the axle nut is tight/still locked in place?
-
To check the wheel bearing, jack it up have someone push the brake pedal to take any play out and put your hands at 12 and 6 and rock in and out.

I have been wondering the same thing myself

Well I guess a dirty air cleaner can cause that haha, good to know. Glad it was just that. A lot of your time but much cheaper. Thanks for sharing!

That’s still a cold engine…

MackPauls trick works real well. Also Joey Mack is right about the Davco those check balls get stuck every once in a while with grime and dirt. He also seems to know these engines pretty damn well. Interested to see what you find.

No a dirty air filter would not cause oil to come out of the turbo, not that I have ever come across anyway…you would def have a loss of power and poor mpg. Let us know what happens.

Haha no problem, google translate works pretty good.
This is Steve L’s answer.
What he’s saying is…”friends I have a mack granite cv713 year 2007 and I bought it without the engine so I put an e7 mechanical engine on it, will it be possible to make the truck mark the indicators on the dash”

The seal is typically like a piston ring, just a metal ring. So it’s fine if oil went past it. If you have lots of shaft play then that’s a different story. Especially lateral play. Yes a dirty air cleaner can screw up a turbo charger. Best way to tell is to look at the compressor wheel for pitting/chips on the blades. That’s about all that can happen to the turbo with a dirty air cleaner.

It doesn’t take much of a restriction to push oil out. From what I’ve seen anyway….
I cant believe this!!

How long do you suspect that was in there? Haha. Good thing it wasn’t “forgotten” pre turbo.
