Ok thank you because I didn't think they made that stuff back then. If there's a way I would like to bypass it. I looked at the pump and the only thing on the shut off is the pull cable

Hey guys I have another issue with the b 815 the truck shuts off once it reaches 180 degrees. I had it running and I blocked the front of the radiator cause I wanted to build up the tempature. And once it hit 180 it shuts down and won't start till its cold again. Is there like a safety shut down on this engine somewhere. I can't find any wires going to anything.

Hey guys the head gaskets are bad on my b815 and I was wondering if the head gaskets on an 864 match with any other Mack motors. I know it sounds like a stupid question but the heads on the v8 look very similar to 673/237 heads. Let me know because if they are transferable then my problem really isn't that much of a problem

864 v8 it runs smooth. It looks like oil is being burnt but the dipstick hasnt moved. And the coolant level hasnt moved. I think its a fuel issue

The seats r un the truck now the guy i bought it from took them out cause he planned on restoring the truck. The seats r in there they just need to be bolted down

hey guys im selling my mack b-815 again,the truck is mechanically sound. there is electrical work needed for lights/gauges. the truck needs tires to be driven on road but, is a good yard truck for now. let me know if interested.
