  1. Thanks for the compliment. I’ve been looking last night and this morning for the correct engine paint for this truck. It probably had a Cummins in it which would’ve been yellow at this time frame. I wonder if they powered these with Mack engines. Good to see you how’s the Mack DM800 model truck coming along? I read where you put it back up.
  2. I bought this 1/25 scale Mack LMSW-M resin kit from AITM about 7 years ago and been working on it off and on.
  3. Any updates on the MPC DM ??
  4. Thanks for the compliment. I still have 12 unbuilt and 2 almost finished.
  5. Looks good Bob at least you have a rolling chassis now.
  6. That’s cool. I’ll have to post more of mine but I’ll start a different thread on mine so I won’t be hijacking. I just got done building the Walthers Freight Building like yours. Here’s a pic of it with a White Frieghtliner I built many years ago I hand painted the red stripe on it. It’s on a Switching layout I’m building in the house.
  7. Looks good Bob nice updates.
  8. Thanks Paul I appreciate the compliment. This one is now my favorite been wanting to do this build for many years I’m glad I got it done. Yes over time those truck seems to fall apart still have a lot of Mack’s to build some are almost finished guess I need to get them done and out of the way.
  9. Thanks Bob looking forward to it.
  10. No I rattle can it all with some hand painting.
  11. I would paint it interior Green or cockpit green like they were before 1973.
  12. You bet. If you ever get going on that DM make a thread
  13. Yes it’s been very cold here. I have a small farm so I’m out in it every morning and evening I’ve got plenty to keep me busy including my hobbies.
  14. This is one of my best I think I’ve built
  15. Like to see that. I got a few Custom First Gear I need to finish too. Yeah I got a Dump Trucking job right here in my town 3 years ago I drive a 2003 Peterbilt 330 single axle and I like it off in the winter drive in the spring summer
  16. Bob I didn’t mine at all no harm. Like you the last years I drove I hated to even go in to work. I worked the city the last 5 years of my career I like it and the cars I didn’t mind it was the other Truckers that couldn’t drive especially in a big city. My last truck was a Mack CHU613 with a Mack m drive 12 speed automatic. If it was below 20° the transmission wouldn’t shift right not just mine every one’s. I never thought I would say this so many times but I don’t miss Trucking after 34 years of driving and being a 4 generation trucker.
  17. Yes I would have never semi retired I had enough of the ELs and these Truck drivers on the highways these days. No more old School Driver’s like I was out there.
  18. That’s a sweet looking steel dash and green on top of it. I drove a 1968 steel dash for about a year pulling a end dump hauling out of the Lead Mines
  19. Yep your pics look much better over here.
  20. There so nice no one see them on the tread there on Bob.
