  1. Shhh. Maybe everyone won’t figure those tricks out. Lol.
  2. Thank you. We bought this last summer for a farm truck that my daughter could or all help for that matter could help move corn. I’ve got a nice 613 that I like but boy this thing really rides and drives nice. I like the fact that every one can get in it and it will work the same. Just can’t rough house it like you can a manual. It has the fleet shift pad I may take it and have that upgraded just to have some choices how it comes out of a field loaded.
  3. I think that is on the 3 position engine brake switch. Off high and low. Read somewhere it adjusts like the differential between cruise settings and when the brake comes on coasting down a hill but really have no idea.
  4. What it adjusts how quickly it comes on?
  5. What’s this switch 2015 pinnacle mp8 m drive. Not the disable the other one.
  6. I haven’t even had a load on it yet. But how do we get it to 1 gear to pull out of a tuff stop? Can’t with this shift pad??? It was originally part of the cvs fleet so it probably never seen anything it asphalt. What’s the astric do nothing?
  7. Bought a 2015 with a m drive for fall help. Has 360k miles Hopefully will last a while. Question is it has the fleet shift pad. Has the m but no + or - key. What would it take to switch to the one with performance mode? Is it plug and play or need software update. if you push m should it just go to 1 to start out of a tuff spot with the key pad I have?
  8. Been discussed before I'm sure but is there any way a 1981 r686 came with the dark grey interior? Truck has what he claims is a 300 but isn't tip turbine says econodyne on the hood. I guess I thought in 81 it would be tip turbine an tan interior originally had a 5 speed been switched to eaton 13 which I would think would work kind of odd with that engine. he claims other then the 13 its all original
  9. Did the ac systems ever work right on these trucks. This one when charged will work som what until you shut down to go into town then that’s it won’t work again. New clutch on the fan the radiators are clean. It has that diagnostic box on the side of it.
  10. http://Agdieselsolutions.com anyone ever put one of these boxes from ag diesel solutions on a e7? Would be nice to bump the horsepower a little. I guess I don’t know how to post a link
  11. I will Have it in my hand Monday afternoon. Thank you for the help. I’ll keep you posted.
  12. I will. We’ve had a Mack some where in the family since the b- models which were way before my time. When I was little you could go to Rochester and see close to 100 r models sitting in two yard. WAs definitely different times.
  13. Rochester indiana.
  14. Yes I see it 45 with return line going in the back side of it. Thanks for the help. Kinda of in a bad spot closest Mack dealer 60mile in a direction we don’t get very often. Not to mention they don’t want to screw with these old trucks
  15. This isn’t going to fix my problem though is it? Just something else we found along the way.
  16. Ok I put another guage that just goes to 60 and it spun it again the zero stop and bent the needle so I’d say it’s right. I’ll call Mack in the morning and get a regulator.
  17. Engine oil is right on the full mark
  18. Unless the gauge is no good but it’s a good oil filled guage
  19. I had it running twice it’s hard to hold the hose clamps on what I had available so I’d guess that’s right. What regulator we talked about??
  20. Fuel pressure at idle is 115ish
  21. Problem has came back after a week of running. I’ll take a look at your fix and see what fuel pressure is. Seems odd it went away for that long and all at once
  22. Guess I was under the impression that the fuel level was suppose to be about 3/4 of the way up that before it needs changed. This one runs with about 1.5” in the bottom.
  23. Well I hope I was wrong. Changed the fuel water separator filters and it hasn’t done it since. So maybe easy fix
  24. Behind the breather? Surely not up on the fire wall?? Or you talking crankcase breather.
