  1. Only Mack factory branch I ever worked for was 5216 north McCarty dr Houston , texas oct 1982 to july 1983 rest of My Mack experience was obtained at different Mack dealerships 1974-1978,1983-1984,1995-1996,1998-2001.
  2. My reply is to FJH about the engineer that left Hayes over an argument with management rumor has this story incorrect would You like to hear what really happened. January 1974 Paccar officially took over Hayes Paccar fist priority was to cut staff where they were not needed Paccar started with the engineering department most of the people in this department were let go one of them was Pat Wilson after his departure with Hayes Pat Wilson was recruited and hired by Mack Trucks to design and engineer a logging truck that could compete with Hayes HDX,Pacific P16,Kenworth 850.
  3. louisgbone@cox.net 1977 I was a truck salesman the CL350ST in the picture looks identical to the one I tried to sell TED ROUTH in 1977 Mack Financial would not finance it, Wardley would not finance it either so the sale was dead. My opinion what killed the CL350ST is they were about $55,000 dollars more than a Pacific or a Kenworth dealer cost was $148,000 Canadian dollars You could buy a Pacific or Kenworth for $95,000 all of CL350ST were sold directly buy Mack Trucks I wonder how much they sold them for.
