  1. Here's a "conestoga" with a twist.. drop deck with a hydraulic tail. IIRC, George Tackaberry was so impressed with the trailer that brought his Highbinder to Macungie he bought the trailer along with the trucks.
  2. Someone had a pair of Wheelhorse tractors on a small flatbed truck at Macungie last year. One was a 59 and the other a 61 IIRC. One of them had a sickle bar mower on the front, which I though was the coolest thing I'd seen in a while. I can just imagine that today a lawyer would have a field day if someone tried to sell something like that.
  3. I know there's pics of a 68 FS785 on oldmacks.com in the Fore Sale section, although his pics for that truck are kinda small. Here's a 73 that's for sale not far from me. http://www.donovansusedcars.com/vehicle_pa...209405110.shtml Yer right, there's not a whole lot of F model pics out there, there are a few in the gallery here, but not as many as I had thought when I first looked thru the gallery.
  4. Well, it looks like I'll be attending my first Macungie show and camping out on my way to NY to visit relatives. I got an email that the guys from Massena will be attending and one of them told me to get my butt to Macungie with my truck. Well, as Doug knows, it's only partially my truck so I will just be there to BS with the rest of ya'll and get ideas on what to do with mine when it arrives. I'll end up saving fuel in the long run as I had planned on going all the way up to Massena to visit Dan and Mike and some of our old neighbors. Guess the neighbors will have to hope for the fuel prices to at least stabilize before I make another run up there.
