OK, and is 115 BPA a good number?

For dry land non irrigated that's a real good crop.  BPA also stands for Bonneville Power Administration on the Columbia River dams.

So truck shop, about a year ago we chatted about an old green three stick Mack with a 220 Cummins in it in Walla Walla Washington. I've been stationed in Washington and want to go see the truck. Think you could help me out. Nice crop you got there btw.

Yes I can take you to see it but don't expect much out of the owner. He is a total hermit and has plenty of money so the truck can rot into the ground for all he cares.

  3.                                   Ah Ha! Laughing gas. How many shots of NOX had that engine been exposed to before it went poof? Probably several. 😉

  4.                                 The B/RB blocks and cranks were pretty good but it is a engine that needs a set of Eagle Rods if your going to run one a little hard. At least a set of ARP rod bolts then have the

housing bores checked on the rods.

Ohhhh, geez.  That's BAD news.   Nothing much worse then when the motor gods lets you see the rotating assembly from the OUTSIDE of the engine.

My local shop dynoed a motor just a month or so back.  Big Hemi motor built by someone else.   They fired it up, made some baseline pulls.  BAM!!!, rod came out the oil pan.  They did a little looking and seems the assembler didn't get around to torquing all the rods?   OOOHHH man.  All the shop could do is wheel all the broken parts back to the guys pickup truck.

The motor gods got tired of being in the dark inside that engine and just wanted a window to peek out of.

  6.                                 It's a Pro Winch and that square aluminum cylinder is a air clutch for free spooling. IIRC that Gearmatic is owned by PacCar so is Braden. When it's 10* below zero a free spool winch

                                    is a must.

I got 70 or 80 413, 426 wedges and 440 TNT engines plus 2 dozen or so Hemi drag engines. 425 to 2500 h.p.  we could find one for you.

And here I thought I had several B/RB engines, I had eleven B/RB engines. I sold the last one a 383 two years ago.

  9.                                    After I got there I realized I had seen this truck before years ago. This truck had been laid on it's right side the doors don't fit right and upon close inspection there wasn't

a crossmember that wasn't broke or cracked completely through. The engine is a Maxidyne from a 70 RL. It originally was a logger. But I past on it. The eyes of the steer

axle are shot also, basically a good parts truck.

  10.                               I might have to make a short road trip tomorrow to Ephrata to check that out. I know where there is a full set of perfect fenders for that and I bet the rust is very little living

                                  where it's at.

  11. Anyone on BMT have any info and a photo or photos of a 1931 Relay model 300A? It was equipped with twin Lycoming Straight Eight's and Westinghouse air brakes. Big horsepower at the time-rated at 275.

I have only seen one picture of a 300 and it was a tiny enhanced photo. Thanks
