Were you guys there?  You really couldnt be more wrong, the crowd went nuts and you could feel the energy.  Everyone was jumping around when they came out and you could barely see things.  I had to wait in line for 5 minutes to get inside one to see it myself.  great event

if we were quiet it was out of respect to the speakers and empty seats were all the salesmen in the bathroom from the free drinks in between speeched!

Dont like the mirrors, dont the click the box, they arent mandatory.  This is the new aero highway tractor.  The CHU still lives on with the classic look and so does the vocational granite.  This replaces neither.  They all get the nice new upgraded interior.

I think owner operaters who want aerodynamics and a tougher look that than some other aero tractors out there will really like it.  I thought the storage in the sleeper may be the best out there.  Almost all fleets wont accept anythig other than a stand up cab these days, that is why Mack hit on it so hard.  Much needed.

Jeeesh you guys can be negative sometimes!

The R model is gone for good and has been gone for decades, some people on this forum were not even born when they stopped making them, having said that people have a right to be nostalgic about the past. The reaction to this truck IMO has been relatively warmer than expected considering that the insults in the direction of Sweden have been few.No negatives really just constructive criticism.

TeamsterGrrrl/GearheadGrrrl has been banned for repeated counts of douchebaggery and for bypassing a previous ban as well as managing to racking up more complaints than anyone in BMT history!

And how about the others who crossed the line of reasonable behavior and language? While i do not sympathize with her, more people should have gone the same way. Be rest assured the Phoenix will rise again.

  3. The search for things MACK brought most of us to this forum. The people who created BMT in their wisdom chose to have sections that were not Mack related to obviously make the forum more engaging.Today those things that are not truck related have brought the most division here and sadly the insults and all that comes with it are being spearheaded by very senior members of this forum on both side of the divide. Please let us think more of the common things that brought us here rather than the ones that divide us.It is normal to hold opposing  views but some of the things written here are just not worthy of any decent human being.

Speaking with a great deal of understanding of how North American and global truckmakers work, I once more respectfully suggest, and much more so now, that you call Volvo Group's Mack brand customer satisfaction hotline (U.S. and Canada) at +1 (866) 298-6586 and start working this problem from that angle as well. It would make a huge difference when the dealers involved know that Greensboro is following this.

I myself would have called Mack, and also had a reman head installed at the original repairing dealer's expense.

That Volvo Group's Ontario PDC (parts distribution center) didn't have reman heads in stock for your truck is another red flag.

If I were you I will let it go,sometimes experience can be the best Teacher.

I told her we should pass,  no pictures allowed, no paper work, no keys, ton of serious rust, no answers to questions and a seller who told us it was $6500 non negotiable and walked away.  Better off giving the money to a bum.

It's on Grey Road /202 1 mile in from rt 25/ Main street Gorham , Maine. For sale sign on curb and car hidden in garage.

    Your problem solved
