It's official...I just called Mr. Gerhart to let him know that we won't be able to make the show this year! We have been busy in the parts room and had zero time to load the truck or the show. We are in the process of hiring more guys and fully intend on coming to the show next year!
Anyone hoping to buy parts at the show from us, please call anytime next week and mention the show...we will work out a special discount to cover freight! Ask for Tracy, Shawn or me...
Hope the weather holds out and you guys have a GREAT show!!

We are gonna try! Thanks Doug!!

Well guys, I am not sure if we are going to make the show this year! We are short handed at the shop and haven't had time to pack as of yet! If we do come out Friday night, we will only have a small selection of parts but will be able to bring our complete selection of novelty items. The novelty items tend to travel much easier than all the individual parts that we usually bring to a show! Either way, we will be offering some type of discounted shipping for anyone that was planning on picking parts up at the show in order to save freight.
We just wanted to apologize, in advance, for any inconvenience that this may cause!

Yeah...we had a few drops around 3pm but nothing materialized...it wasn't even enough to show on a vehicle. So all in all, it was a great day! Here is the link to the gallery!

Super turnout at the 7th Annual Show! We had well over 100 vehicles (official count not in yet) and mostly blue skies and sunshine all day!
Not a huge BMT turnout but a Motley Crew none the less!
Here is a group of Veterans posing with the Normandy Truck!
More photos can be found in our gallery: Check back later also, I am still uploading photos to the Gallery!

Ok Guys, We will be arriving at the show Friday afternoon and setting up for Saturday only. I just made a fresh batch of BMT name tags to hand out at the show! Be sure to stop by our booth on Saturday to grab your name tag. See you there!

Correct, Shoutbox does not support video chat at this time.

I think the old chat got hacked and we had some squatters! I deleted it and added a new module called the Shoutbox! Give it a try and see how it works! It is pretty cool...it has a side bar module as well as a dedicated page plus many other standard chat features.

We are having problems with the old chat room so I installed this new shoutbox app! It should be up and running now...give it a try!

OK guys....this is getting a little out of hand. We fully encourage opinions and debating but not at the cost of harassing another BMT Member. I know exporting is a hot topic around here but it is part of life! Mack Trucks are world wide...unless you are personally going to buy up all the old R-Models in the US, then there are probably plenty to go around for everyone to enjoy whether for business or pleasure. I understand both sides of this argument but BMT is not going to be the battlefield. These forums were started many years ago in order to help Mack Truck owners and fans get peer to peer information and support for antique classic and modern Mack Trucks. So, please...treat every BMT Member as you would like to be treated. If you don't like their chosen legal profession, you are free to use the ignore button!

Thank you Barry: Brings back memories of Sears Roebuck catalog when I was a kid before Christmas.........bobby j.
Haha, I just told my kids about how we used to circle the stuff we wanted for Christmas for our parents to find. They wondered why I just didn't email links to them?? LOL! How times change!

Sounds good Barry!
Might a wish list be used for not only items showed out in the online store?
No, it will only save items within the online store. Again, We can work on adding more items! Be sure to post some ideas of what you would like to see listed!

Have you guys checked out our new online store lately?
I have just added a PDF catalog feature that allows you to print a hard copy of any store category! You can also create a wish list that stays saved in your account! It allows you to find items fast and place orders when you are ready!
The store also emails you tracking number updates when your order is shipped! There are also several useful tools on your account page such as gift card info and such!
Be sure to visit the store and create a FREE account if you haven't already!

If you want to order online but the item you need is not listed, let me know! If it is available, I can add it to the online inventory!

It's hard to say what issues may arise with IE...especially IE11! We have to block all IE11 updates at work because Mack's web applications as well as our in house inventory applications will not run on IE11!
BMT is completely up to date and supported by Invision Power boards so we aren't running any old, out of date software or anything. I just think IE doesn't like to play well with others! LOL!

I do agree...I'd rather see the logo stay the same! Keep it iconic!

The way I see it, the logo design and video are mediocre...not much creativity involved but that is the norm these days with any company! Young minds are taking over and they just are not as creative or skilled as the work force used to be! With that said, I certainly see the need for change and updates. A company needs to stay fresh and competitive. New logos will always come and go, no big deal! Mack is fortunate to have such a rich, well reserved history and we will always have that to look back to. No one knows what the future will bring but we all know where the past has been. I know that there are a lot of Volvo haters and that is fine, but there has to come a point where we understand that Mack would probably not be here today if not for Volvo's support. We don't have to like it but I do wish everyone would realize that Volvo isn't the worst thing to ever happen to Mack. (Did everyone forget about Renault...LOL?) Seriously people, I do get a ton of reports about negativity and it is starting to get old. I will never censor comments but I would like to encourage everyone to try and curb the negativity and help lighten up the forums! We all know how deep the feelings run and it is a good thing but there really isn't a reason to keep displaying the hostility on these forum pages. I myself am glad that Volvo is investing in the Mack Brand and hasn't wanted to just 'kill' it off. The best thing we can do on BMT is show support for Mack! That is what Volvo is looking for. The negativity that oozes from here does nothing but hurt the Mack brand and tarnish ties with the mother ship. Remember, you catch more flies with honey than vinegar!

We didn't change anything here to get rid of the adware...sometimes the internet just takes care of itself...LOL!
But, as always...if you see any weirdness, be sure to report!
