  1. It's official...I just called Mr. Gerhart to let him know that we won't be able to make the show this year! We have been busy in the parts room and had zero time to load the truck or the show. We are in the process of hiring more guys and fully intend on coming to the show next year!

Anyone hoping to buy parts at the show from us, please call anytime next week and mention the show...we will work out a special discount to cover freight! Ask for Tracy, Shawn or me...

Hope the weather holds out and you guys have a GREAT show!!

  2. Well guys, I am not sure if we are going to make the show this year! We are short handed at the shop and haven't had time to pack as of yet! If we do come out Friday night, we will only have a small selection of parts but will be able to bring our complete selection of novelty items. The novelty items tend to travel much easier than all the individual parts that we usually bring to a show! Either way, we will be offering some type of discounted shipping for anyone that was planning on picking parts up at the show in order to save freight.

We just wanted to apologize, in advance, for any inconvenience that this may cause!

  3. I think the old chat got hacked and we had some squatters! I deleted it and added a new module called the Shoutbox! Give it a try and see how it works! It is pretty cool...it has a side bar module as well as a dedicated page plus many other standard chat features.

  4. OK guys....this is getting a little out of hand. We fully encourage opinions and debating but not at the cost of harassing another BMT Member. I know exporting is a hot topic around here but it is part of life! Mack Trucks are world wide...unless you are personally going to buy up all the old R-Models in the US, then there are probably plenty to go around for everyone to enjoy whether for business or pleasure. I understand both sides of this argument but BMT is not going to be the battlefield. These forums were started many years ago in order to help Mack Truck owners and fans get peer to peer information and support for antique classic and modern Mack Trucks. So, please...treat every BMT Member as you would like to be treated. If you don't like their chosen legal profession, you are free to use the ignore button!

    Topic locked.

  5. Thank you Barry: Brings back memories of Sears Roebuck catalog when I was a kid before Christmas.........bobby j.

Haha, I just told my kids about how we used to circle the stuff we wanted for Christmas for our parents to find. They wondered why I just didn't email links to them?? LOL! How times change!

  6. Have you guys checked out our new online store lately?

I have just added a PDF catalog feature that allows you to print a hard copy of any store category! You can also create a wish list that stays saved in your account! It allows you to find items fast and place orders when you are ready!

The store also emails you tracking number updates when your order is shipped! There are also several useful tools on your account page such as gift card info and such!

Be sure to visit the store and create a FREE account if you haven't already!

If you want to order online but the item you need is not listed, let me know! If it is available, I can add it to the online inventory!

  7. It's hard to say what issues may arise with IE...especially IE11! We have to block all IE11 updates at work because Mack's web applications as well as our in house inventory applications will not run on IE11!

BMT is completely up to date and supported by Invision Power boards so we aren't running any old, out of date software or anything. I just think IE doesn't like to play well with others! LOL!
