By the way, you guys can start a new thread each time for your introductions! We got lots of space here, so go ahead and tell us about yourselves and your antique truck projects!

Just FYI...when a member reaches 20 posts, he/she can add a custom member title like mine (BMT Webmaster) that will appear under the avatar picture! You can access this feature under your profile settings in "My Controls" But you need to have over 20 posts to do it!

Try clicking on the "Clear all cookies set by this board" link on the top of the forum home page. Then login and make sure the remember me box is clicked. That should help.

Hi Guys, each member has a Gallery (otherwise known as a photo album) You can access it from your "My Controls" tab at the top of the screen. Just upload your photos and you will have your own gallery! Other members can view your gallery by clicking on the link in your profile card! Have fun and remember...this is for truck related stuff ONLY...

Oh, please remember to login before uploading photos! They wont enlarge right if you dont login...

I had to vote for the E6 4 valve head just because it is almost bulletproof and parts are easy to find and fairly cheap.

The new board uses cookies to track members and topics. When a new member joins, he might need to clear the old cookies from the temp internet file. Also make sure you have an email entered in your profile when registering, I have noticed that it can cause problems if the email box is left empty.

Sure, you can add it under personal photo in your control panel. I can do it for you if you email me the pic you want.

Hi

  I was wondering how far off the floor my clutch should be starting to grab. It

grabs high right now, almost to the top of the pedal.

The truck is a 1985 u600 mack. Is this normal, or to high ? As a note " it isn't slipping" just curious if there is something I should adress.

Your clutch should grab about half way up from the floor...give or take. This should be true for most heavy trucks.

We have added a number of different forums to the site. Learn to use the "My Assistant" link and the "view New Topics" link at the top of every page! This will be your new friend!

Also when adding photos to the gallery...be sure to login.

If you have any problems loging in after registering, click the link that says, "Clear all cookies set by this board" And try again. That should get you able to log back in.

Also, be sure to update your profiles. The more info you enter, the easier it is for other members to get to know you. It also help the board work better by tracking your birthdays, etc...

Feel free to add stuff to the calendar too. There is a reminder at the bottom of the first page for calendar events.
