I don't have too much in the way of good used tanks...I was working with a company to develop polished alum square tanks, but it appears to have fallen through...back to the drawing boards for now...

A nylon bristol scrub brush or a tooth brush is good for getting in all those nooks and crannies!

The kit would be $3049.00 plus freight. Here is what you get:
8-Cylinder Kits (Includes piston, sleeve, ring set and wrist pin set)
4-Head gaskets
5-Main Brgs
8-Rod Brg Sets
1-Upper Gasket Set
Don't wait too long, supplys are getting low...

I have a program called Morpheus that does all the work...you just upload 2 pics and add reference points for the morph and bingo! On this on, I did a little extra work on this one to remove the backgrounds for a smoother morph.

the story is that the first owner was in to much of a hurry and it was shipped without to trim package.
Barry- can you put together an "in frame" overhaul kit for the e9 engine?
Yes phil, I can supply an E9 overhaul kit...ready to go! Just PM me or call: 1-888-304-MACK

I lie awake waiting for you. As I lie on my bed, thinking about you,
I feel this strong urge to grab you and squeeze you, because I can't
forget last night. You came to me unexpectedly during the balmy and
calm night, and what happened in my bed still leaves a tingling
sensation in me. You appeared from nowhere and shamelessly,
without any reservations, you lay on my naked body... You sensed my
indifference, so you applied your hungry mouth to me without any guilt
or humiliation, and you nearly drove me crazy while you drained me.
Finally I went to sleep.
Today when I woke up, you were gone. I searched for you but
to no avail, only the sheets bore witness to last night's events.
My body still bears faint marks of your enthusiastic ravishings,
making it harder to forget you.
Tonight I will remain awake waiting for you...
....damn mosquito.

LOL!! I got busted on the first look!

I agree with Freightrain, you can do it, but there is more to it to make it "Right" I have heard that you may even need to change the injectors and reset the pump as well as changing pistons and adding piston oilers.

The only place I know is Paul's Chrome in Evans City, PA

I am still waiting on Alcoa and Accuride to issue quotes, both companies were interested, but now is the hurry up and wait period! LOL
Update: I just talked to a guy from Alcoa today...he said it would be a minimum of 500 pieces. They would all be 22.5 tubeless. He said price would be less if they can use the standard forging of today's wheels (instead of the doomed shape) but the overall look would be very close...what do you guys think about that? Price and lead time coming soon!

Stop in some afternoon and we'll go look around! I need to get more photos anyway...
The best yard around is Gerharts in Lititz, PA...don't miss the truck show Oct 1st...you can walk all around the junk yard. There are trucks and heavy equipment there.

I found this exploring the net...

I'll have to look at the old fire trucks, I think they are all Mack (there is at least 2 or 3 down in the yard) I don't really know the story of all the trucks...most of them were traded in or bought for scrap years ago. We have just started buying B's for used parts, etc...I'll try to post more pics soon!
-
Some are listed, but we just got several of them...I need to find the vins and submit them for the registry. These photos are just from one corner of the yard (the B section) you should see some of the other stuff back there! Old buses, old ford and chevy vans, fire trucks!
Tons of cool stuff just rusting away. I will get some more pics when I can...
