  1. The interior color is right all magnums came with red interior if it had a sleeper the headliners were white on magnum models only. The seats are correct and have the magnum logo in the seats. Yea truck paper always list Mack's with wrong info I've seen ch listed as r model and so forth. I have done two complete ground up restorations on magnums both were 1985 models . I'll have to post pics of the sometime both are show winners . I have a guy wanting me to do a rw liberty edition restoration think I'm going to pass on that one she is rough

  2. Look on the drivers side kick panel right beside the clutch .pull back the black carpet that is were the roof harness and the dash harness plug in to each other. They like to corrode back there. I fixed many of ch and cx trucks when I worked for a Mack dealer. They sit right against the side cowel panel and in the winter the cab is warm and that cowl is cold they sweat and corrode . Try that and see if that helps .

  3. I think ms windshields are still available from Mack . If not most any local glass company in your area should have one. When I install them I have two people if the existing seal is good use it. I install the seal on the glass and then Install a small rope in the locking portion of the seal on the inside . Have your two rope ends come together at the bottom of the windshield. Some folks use soapy water in a spray bottle for lube it works well just a little messy I think .I use foaming glass cleaner to lube the seal a lot less messy. Set the bottom of the glass on the pinch weld with the two rope ends on the inside of the cab have the person inside start pulling the rope as you push slightly on the windshield to help hold it in place as the seal goes into place . I use a hook tool to help the seal seat on the outside. And sometimes on the inside if needed . It usually only takes about fifteen min to get the glass in sits not hard.

  4. I would like to see pics and a price if the white in the pole barn could be bought that was my dad's first truck . He had a 1970 250 cummins with a nine speed fuller that truck kept our family fed would love to get one for my dad.
