So, I don't hate the spoke wheels. However, the main issue I have with the spoke wheels is the rims, they are VERY rusty and I doubt I'll be able to find a big truck tire shop that will dismount them let alone put new rubber on them. What rims would work on these spokes? Is there an aftermarket for replacing the old two piece wheels for tubeless?

    Just need 22.5 tubeless rims.

Is that 20 or 22" rubber on that?

White was just like Allis Chalmers and International Harvester. They each made everything from trucks, tractors, heavy equipment to home appliances, power generation, crushers, mills, you name it. EVERYTHING. IH even had it's own town here in Ontario. Their own employee housing, schools, churches, fire department.

It's amazing what some bad management can do to a once giant, that would think would be unstoppable.

Forklifts too. I've got one that you can't kill

I saw some dummy yesterday kind of off the subject had a U-Haul truck and a car, dolly Toyota pick up on the dolly. Somehow the back wheels locked up, blew out both tires on the Toyota and had both rims grounded down to the bolt pattern bumper dragging the ground I guess this jack ass just kept on driving until somebody flagged him down I guess I should’ve put that in genius award ha ha

Sounds like the nitwit didn't put the pickup in neutral

Pretty much everything except for the "killer dowel pin". Its a real thing. A place I used to work at a long time ago had the exact same setup truck. 12V 5.9 with a Spicer 7 speed. That stupid dowel pin wiped out the timing gears and the front of the engine. It had less than 50k miles on it. I think it was still worth enough to them they put a reman engine in the truck. I would pull your timing cover and see if yours has been addressed already and if not fix it. Its a very easy job and like a $50 part.

  7. Yeah the 5.9 is pretty much bulletproof. I like that the closest thing to a computer on this truck is the radio. It's also a factory A/C which is pretty rare in a 97
