160 10 years later and now north of 250k

I will be pushing it to jobs before I spend that kind of money.

You can get wheel adapters to put 22.5 rubber on a 1 ton. That would help quite a bit.

That stupid dowel pin wiped out the timing gears and the front of the engine. It had less than 50k miles on it. I think it was still worth enough to them they put a reman engine in the truck. I would pull your timing cover and see if yours has been addressed already and if not fix it. Its a very easy job and like a $50 part.

Yeah the 5.9 is pretty much bulletproof. I like that the closest thing to a computer on this truck is the radio. It's also a factory A/C which is pretty rare in a 97
