That's what I'm praying on ..mack gave me a list of 6300.00 parts no labor..
Check pai might be a little better price wise. That's what's in my truck has been fine for the last 2.5 years

I just bought 4 new air bags for my 84 Mh with Neway and put new air bags on my 83 WS with Neway 4 years ago. The WS has a rather rare Neway with the shocks mounted to the top of the axle tube. There out there.
I solved my issue by back halving the truck since the 9" rails where busted beyond saving the newer style 10" rails slid right over the old rails perfectly

Worst case is cam cam bearings and lifters. Had to do that on my E6 couple years ago

Good luck finding air bags for that old of a neway. Was told in January Goodyear quit making them.

There is no twisting slop at all. I am going to put new u joints on it and sign it off. There is a very small amount of play in the drag link. Mack wants 500.00 for one. Yikes I cant find after market for it either.
Try pai industries

My buddy I haul with had 1.1mil before they overhauled it on an e7 350

My superliner with e6 350 "pump has been played with not by me previous owner had to of" t2100 10sp with 3.86 "I think" 11R22.5 I average 6.5 running 65-70 or almost 7 if I never go over 60 during the day. That's 80000ish one way empty coming back pulling a low sided hopper

I had a tick that would come and go. Then is got constant taught it was a band clamp on the exhaust. Ended up losing a lift and the cam so I'd check your valve train out

The company I worked for had issues with new radiators from Detroit radiator. A lot of failures they did warranty them but some of the warranty ones failed shortly after install. They switched back to only oem after that.

Just out of curiosity why do you want to switch to hub pilots? They can be a total bitch to remove the inside dual if it has been on a long time.
One reason would be the brake drums are considerably cheaper like 50% bought cast drums in March for my stud piloted hubs 215 a piece. A 3600A drum which is standard hub pilot is 100 a piece or less.

They didn't work well in ag tractors either

Why not just sell it complete? Or trade for one without a sleeper?
What year and specs?
Because I've spent too much on this one and have about everything fixed with it. In other words I know this truck can't afford to take a risk with an unknown truck
It's a 88 with a 350 mack, mack 10sp, mack rears on Neway air

We have an R,CV, and a CH that can hit in the 24-24,500 empty depending on how much fuel they have on and that's with common spec'd hoppers. 25000 is very obtainable if you go with the light wieght options on the trailer.
I'm 26400 with 1/2 tanks which is around 150 gals so I figure the light trailer will knock close to a 1000 off so it shouldn't be too hard to hit.

Want to lose the weight the next raider in a couple years is gonna be all aluminum subframe and kingpin box shooting to be around 25k empty

I'm paid by the load so I'm doing 60 in a 55 and 70 on the big road. I'm pretty easy going but if you see a truck coming up on you in the left lane stay in the right unless your doing the speed limit.

I had words with a bobtail Schneider last summer on rt 39 after he yank himself into the left lane in front of me doing 64 to let some one on at 38. He got upset after I past him on got of on 88 west shortly afterwards. I've noticed that they've been on 20 a lot and can't do the speed limit actually most of those van trailers running on rt 20 can't run the speed limit thru the curves must be scared.
