I have 2000 e7 460 with Jake. The last time about 3yrs ago when I was gonna adjust the valves I noticed I had 1 plug missing from each shaft. I went to the auto parts store an got all new plugs a little deeper than the original. Today when I took it apart to adjust valves the front plug on the rear shaft was out. How do you guys remedy this? I was thinking of Tig welding the plugs in. What do you think?

On the receipt it shows list at $49.84 maybe they went down?

Just for grins I checked with Mack and the same cushion was $33.19. I sure figured Mack would of been higher. Thanks for the help Guys.

Is it possible to buy just the bottom cushion? Mine is 14 yrs old and the padding is wore out.

Not hard. You just need a big socket to press the seal in.

Milkman . you put new injector lines on every time you take one off? I know that's Mack procedure, but I believe its just a way to suck your dollars. I have had mine on an off 3 times so far. They are around a hunnert a piece.

I have a 200 ch with eaton rears. On the front rear on the drivers side on the rear of the housing from the banjo part to about 3in. to the drivers side the weld joining the top an bottom was ground down [ for what reason I don't know] but it was like this from the factory[i bought the truck new]. Any way in this ground area is a small horizontal crack that seeps oil, I put JB weld on it an it quits for 2 yrs. any suggestion on what else might be good to use? This must be a common problem cause a guy I park with has a 2005 an his is doing the same thing in the same spot. I have no idea why that weld was ground, must be for a jig or fixture or something like that. I know best is to weld but not convenient for me. Any suggestions on what to use? or JB weld again? You don't put a hose on it. when you wanna grease press in pedal put a stick between pedal an seat mount grease brg. pull out stick

I found some arms with replaceable Poly bushings. They are made by ATRO. 130.00 compared to 169.00 for a Mack rubber replacement. Google Atro and call them they will give you a dealer in your area. I had 2 close to me one wanted 185 the other was 129. so check around.

The Mack front axle has a adjusting nut with cotter pin on the bottom of the King Pin. The Eaton just has a plug with grease zerk

The ones that run from the frame to the rear end. Do they make replaceable poly bushings as to not have to buy the whole arm? 2000 ch with eaton rears.

0.016 intake 0.024 exhaust if you have a jake 0.020
