Our cl started makin noises the other day in 7th and 8th gear when pulling, figured for sure transmission was goin out, it's a t2180 and the shop quoted me at 10k to do it, well we ended up runnin the cl for 2 days after the noise statted(might as well make pieces now)and then took it to the shop. Here the rear rear went out and was makin noise near top end. So that's a good bit cheaper than transmission ha.

Found it. Short in trailer and blown fuse

Title pretty much explains it. In our 06 w900 we lost trailer lights, gauge lights and none of the gauges work. We do however have turn signals and brake lights on trailer and every light on the truck works besides the gauge lights. Any ideas be greatly appreciated.

Well our little one is a 6800, 2 compartment, 2 inch pump, electric and hydrolic motors, rebushed this past spring, air ride, good trailer just too small for us.

My concern with these is led dont make heat, I'm worried they would get caked shut with snow while driving in a storm. -
Apparently it does cuz it did haha. Thank you dirtymilkman. Much nicer not havin to set the cruise everytime I get outta the truck.

I would love to rebuild the neway, but all the beams are shot, and the 8 bag is all rebushed, both rears are fairly new, and all I have to do is cut and weld the frame, also has 3:73 as compared to 4:10, and also hub piloted wheels instead of stud piloted.

So our 96 cl with the Mack 454 started to idle real slow, around 450 rpms, it happened when I woke up the one day and turned off the cruise from having the idle bumped up. It seems to run fine yet, besides the always slow response when ya step on it. Any ideas what I could try to check for what would cause that?

Not really a new member but been a long time since I been on here. Still got my Superliner, although at the moment it's awaiting new trans and the neway is shot, so it's gettin a kw 8 bag cutoff, bought a 96 cl613 in November as a late birthday present to myself, 454, 18 speed, full double frame, 46k rears, has an issue or 2 that I'll post about in the correct category. Then in November I thought, what will I get myself for Christmas?? So I got a 98 kw w900l haha. But anyhow I was mad at stuff breakin last time I was on here, and I guess I just finally realized, whatever it is if you're gonna use it, it's gonna break ha.

I am on my 3rd set of valve cover gaskets since January on my 1990 e7 400. when I replaced them they are deteriorated and fallin apart. what could be causin this?

well I think we got it straitened out now. still not... happy with it, but as long as it holds up I wont complain anymore. ill try to take some pictures of how she flexes, bends, and gets around at some of the farms tomorrow. still need a 18 speed tho. this only 9 just aint my friend.

yea im not sure, regardless the check got cancled quick and he will get paid when it is fixed correctly.

the old frame was cracked and took it to a shop, the cut it off in front of the front drive, replaced from there back and 4 days of running it, it now is bent out where the arm goes from the rear drive to the frame, and is also bowed down between the tandems under the 5th wheel plate.

just loosing interest. it works good, but it get abused a lot haulin milk and just little stuff that is just irritating me. plus all the stuff I wanna do is addin up a lot. just loosing interest.

1990 mack rw613 superliner, 35k on overhaul, 2 new heads,e7 400, mack 9 speed, neway air ride, new bushings and airbags on back axle, 35k on new Kelly drives and 40k on goodyear steers, 24.5 rubber, aluminum outsides, steel insides, new air to air when overhauled. runs great, uses no oil, just got the frame redone and it bent, getting it fixed right and gonna try to sell. $42000 obo. I forget the name, but it wasn't jabsco, theyre suppose to pump a lil quicker too I hear. was goin all out when we were pricing one for our baby trailer to chance it to 2.5 pump. well, as of right now the superliners in the shop.. getting new frame. when I get it back ill post pics for sure with it stretched a lil.

about 200k. I have 3 other trucks with the zf5 and everthing seems fine with them, besides my girlfriends pops outta reverse sometimes. third is the worst, just wondered if anyone had a clue on what it could be. thanks

lookin at buyin another pickup from a friend. runs and drives but 3rd and 5th and reverse are all a lil weird or loose I guess to explain. third is by far the worst tho. he thinks its a bent fork, I think it might be a shift tower.. any other oppinions?

thanks guys. I try to keep it lookin presentable ha. and I only ever seen threaded ends like dirty milkman said. I have however seen the pump with a clamp on the cap and the housing instead of one big c clamp.

just renting it, and yes 8000 gal. but can only get about 68500 on it. its heavy too, 33,300 empty. chuck p, ya mean on the ends of the hose how its like a fitted end instead of slippin inside and hose clamps? that was what they gave me when I asked for the 2.5 hose. I would preffer the other kind for when it gets a hole to fix it easier.
