Don't look like a bad deal at all

Thank you for the compliment. I take a lot of pride in them. My father likes dirty trucks because it means they are working. While I can agree with that, I'm the main one driving right now and I like driving them when they are clean. The RD and the CL are always head turners.
I can see both your points..I always looked at it as when they are clean people know you take care of your equipment and when it's dirty they know that your not afraid to work it...Nice trucks....have a good one buddy

My 3. Today ended bath time for the 3. It's real hard keeping them clean this time of the year. Got to take care of them if I want them to take care of me.
Very sharp trucks buddy,.....looks like you've took care of them very well

Welcom to the site buddy

Why mack? 1976 with 593,155 miles on it and over 1 millon $$$$ in gross revenue since I bought it in 1986
I LOVE my mack
Not alot of truck owners can say that, Good looking truck buddy

The question was easier to answer back then. One would be hard pressed to come up with 17 pages worth of reasons today,
Sorry for the buzzkill, but seeing the old logo reading an article from a time when a Mack was a Mack brings it out in me.
As always, thanks for posting your literature for all to see.
I have to agree with you fully....some new trucks today would have 17 pages of reasons to not buy them, or continous problems yet to be fixed. Thanks Kscarbel

If you had any problems with it you could always get Sonny and Will to fix it for you!

You should be sorry. I don't recall you ever contributing to the original NY thread yet you felt compelled to high jack this thread with your wannabe tough guy act. My offer stands you little bitch.
I just said i was sorry about being one of the 2 to hijack the thread man, the second person being yourself.....I know just like everyone else that i didn't contribute to the Ny thread, but as a member i do follow the thread like many other threads, I've let it go man, you should to.......I'm not a bitch by the way "your not talking to your wife" and I appreciate it if this ends at this post....Everyone carry on and DM897SX if you wanna say anything else just PM me, let's keep it off the boards and between each other......everyone carry on i'm enjoying the pics

What a shame, the most popular truck thread ever gone.

A good friend would have turned around and got you a shirt....lolNo one bit on my challenge........"WHERE IN THE HELL IS PUCKERBRUSH"
Puckerbrush is also known as "Mill City", Nevada, MM151 on I-80. POPULATION 28; way out there in the middle of no where. To get there, you drive to the end of the planet earth, make a left and drive another thousand miles. The whole town runs, lives and works at the Burns Bros. Truck Stop there. WHERE IN THE HELL IS PUCKERBRUSH is the popular t-shirt that they sell....LOL.......
Slpwlkr doesn't count- he was just there this past summer and tagged himself on Facebook....When I saw it I called him in a panic to tell him to grab me a t-shirt but he had just gotten back onto 80 and dropped the hammer.

I know what you mean Mark...My uncle told me a few stories about him running a R model with a 36inch bunk to california and back. Pulled a reefer, truck had no a/c, camelback rears. Said he would sleep on the trailer floor when he was empty with the reefer running...lol...turned the truck over in Dallas,Tx. Because the leaf springs broke on one side of the trailer. You gotta give drivers like this alota credit, because they put up with stuff alot of the new drivers won't.I read this ad,and imagined what it must have been like to run that round back then! with no sleeper,"iffy" heat Lol! the weather , mountains etc. I give the old hands all the credit and admiration I have!..................................Mark

Yea I seen on the weather last night it was gettin bad down there, i'll switch with you Mark....i'm in good ol newark,n.j.Looks like I'm gonna have a day off today! I'm just south of Atlanta this morning, and this area is paralyzed! Most of my stops are closed, can't get to them anyway! "Rare southern snow-storm cripples south" NO SHIT!!!!! I figured that out all by myself! LOL!.............................................Mark
-
Mark that was a fedex truck at exit 29(miniskirt junction) I passed that going north about 10 minutes after it happened. Driver was ok.
I musta missed this one, i'm glad the driver was ok......I've passed that truckstop plenty of times here lately going up 81. I've heard alot of people say it was a good place, too bad where stuck with the big chain truck stops now
-
.
Looks like they are both enjoying it
-
I think about when they were new, the time the men the jods. The lives the trucks lived at camps and on the job. I don't think we will really understand. Nice pics.
Thats the time when Truck Drivers was real "Drivers"....You sure would't get a steering wheel holder to look at these pics and say that.....first words would be where's the air ride seat lol
-
Yea I always get aggrevated when there's 2 plow trucks in the median turnaround watching you slide by them....Unlike pa, Virginia is pretty proactive when it comes to being prepared for impending snow. Pa can't plow there way out of a paper bag. Nice pics Tom.
