Don't any of you Mack guys pull a lowboy???????

I am planning to get into the lowboy business. I have some customers already but don't have a trailer ( and am not ready for one yet). I have 3 questions 1. What make of lowboy trailer should I stay away from (and why)? 2. Do I need to carry dollar for dollar cargo insurance? If I plan to haul a $230,000 machine do I need to carry at least that much in cargo insurance? 3. I have a 98 CH with a 427 and 40,000 lb rear. It is set up for a lowboy ( 2line wet kit, rear frame crossmember support). The heaviest machine I might haul weighs about 80,000 lbs. With a 50 ton lowboy is my tractor suited to do this type of hauling??? Thanks, Rob w.

Are using oil in a computer controlled Mack?? And can you explain A DD fuel pump and 750 luber filter...sorry I don't know what that is. ATF is ok to use too?? thanks

Has anyone ever experimented with using waste vegetable oil or waste motor oil (or waste gear oil) as fuel (or added to diesel) in their trucks? I was told that years ago waste oil (filtered) was a good source of fuel (and it worked well with non-computer fuel injection). Also any one experimnet with adding acetone to your fuel?? Thanks, Rob

Anyone have the following for sale (for a 98 CH613)......window crank, door lock, clip for a sun visor. How about the rubber knobs that the CB sits on?? Also the upper center storage console.....the door is cracked off and part of the box is cracked so I can use the whole thing. If you do let me know at baldylocks104k@yahoo.com. thanks guys.
