  1. Yes I've found 1998 Cl-713 for a good price however the Axle Housing (Rear) has a crack in it! It has stopped him from running but me personally if I decide to purchase it would want to fix it! Wanted to know where the best place might be to look for a used one & if anyone knows what they are priced at used! And how many hours in labor? Many thanks.

  2. The difference in insulator pads is the way they are made, rubber is organic and urethane is synthetic so the hardness and the way they wear can be changed with out losing drivability, typically it is like going from a good to better. Rubber tends to start to deteriorate as soon as it is installed because of ozone, grease, freeze/thaw, dry rot etc....urethane is designed to resist all that stuff with higher load capacity, tear resistance, compression, abrasion, oil and fuel resistance, uv protectant, etc...

Rubber is typically cheaper and last a fair amount of time depending on application so that is why it gets used by OEM manufactures

  3. I serched for you and here are some of the responses I've found. 57bcr said "I like the urethane bushings & pads also.Worth the extra moolah!" 84superdog said "Oh and Yes to the urethane bushings, they ride a little rougher but last twice as long". You might want to message them and ask questions!

  4. Ok! I'll find some to calibrate it! Really just wanted to know quality of New Mack antennas! Like I. Said I have STRYKER SR-497HPC 10 METER HAM RADIO, THATS LOUD & VERY POWERFUL!!! IT HAS BEEN ALIGNED/PEAKED/TUNED BY TECH,HIGH OUTPUT,CLEAR AUDIO AND READY TO GO! But I also have a nice Cobra Night-watch radio! 5. xdudebrahx there's a lot More to starting a Business than to just Driving a Truck! However if you got the will to help Feed your desire you can make it! May advice is 1st make sure that your Credit in in place! This will help you establish some accounts for: Tires, Parts, a Good mechanic, Fuel! Try to establish at least a net 30 payment plan. This will give you a little room to allow the the Truck to pay for expense that may occur. 2nd you are only as good as your product so you have to make sure that your next move is your best Move! Your Truck has to be SOLID! Don't be scare to pay a little more for a good piece of equipment. The reason I say this because whatever company you will be dealing with you MUST always remember that a good name is better than Gold. So you want everyone to know that you are dependable and won't be breaking down all the Time. As far as paper work and Taxes don't panic intuit offers online Turbo Tax and Payroll for like $500.00 A year. Other than that you call speak with your buddies on how clean up your $$$. Next thing you have to think about is Steady Work. Who do you plan on working with and then try to establish I good relationship with them. But at the end of the day what's going to really help you make this decision is what type of Financial debt you are already in. House note, rent, car note, food, children, wife. Remember it's all about numbers! If it's not adding up then it's subtracting!!!

  6. Rob many thanks for the call! I've got my sale rep checking into that as soon as I find out exactly how the process work I'll let uou know! He's acting like I already got a discount but at the same time he couldn't tell me about the warranty! So I told him to check into it and get back with me! If it wasn't the weekend I'd call Allison myself. If you find out anything else let me know.

  8. No I got the Allison 4500RDS! I have a few Buddies that have them and the Mack dealership told me there customers swear by them that there great! This way I don't have to worry about clutch, it will be easier on drive shaft, I ordered the Dana Spicer SPL 170 SPL 250 heavy duty driveshaft! They come with seal guard and don't need to be greased for the 1st three years or (350,000) miles, and once every 6 months after that!

  9. What type of Mack you order LSI? I'm bring a new pup home too. I just ordered a Granite Dump with ten Allison in her with MP8 with 445 Hp. I took that same step of Faith also in buying New. The down time and Break downs was costing me so I figured if I'm going to be in this industry it was time to step up and step out!!!! Did you purchase the extended warranty?

  10. Trying to Find out what company has the Best insurance Rates for us Truckers and who Treats you like you should be treated when your equipment is damaged? I know that most of them will never pay what truck is worth if it's totaled but being I'm getting new piece of equipment I need someone who at least uses vaseline!!!!!😁😁😁😁😅

  11. Was word earring if any of you dump Truck owners or driving have a Bibeau bed with the 45 degree angle bumper? If so how do you like them? What's better the 45 degree bumper or the tail gate with the lip on it? Also does any one have any pics of the Bibeau in Cab Control Tower??? You guys insight would be greatly appreciated many thanks Mightyfruit!

  12. Tree98 I had and have some of the same concerns! I'm getting a new truck built this year! I just stepped out on Faith that the new one will save me less problems than the older ones! How I see it with the older ones you have parts, labor, and down time! With the new ones you may just have mostly downtime if something go wrong! Hopefully with emission problems being around for a while you would think that the American mechanics great minds and Technology has come up with Solutions! I'm like you a little scared of that payment but hell it wouldn't be not fun without a little Challenge! My whole career I've been with Mack (all older trucks) Rd's, Cl's. Well I want to and got to know for myself is Mack going to continue to live up to its legendary name!!!!!! " why must I chase the Cat, because it's the DOG in ME"!
