Happy Birthday and best wishes for many more.

I just watched that on AOL News. Fascinating. Pepe has some nice equipment.

Happy Birthday. Have many more and keep the camera clicking.

Oh man what a bitch. I missed the last two shows and was pumped for this one. It looks like one of the main factors in the decision this early is insurance. Understandable but disappointing.

Believe me I had plenty of help! Hoping to have it out at a show at the end of the month...
Looks great! Which show are you talking about?

Cool picture. Where was it taken?

Yeah sounds like 41 Chevy.
I bet it is.

Sounds awesome. Too bad they wouldn't allow pictures.

Pretty sure they have been posted before. Last fall?
I remember seeing the ad too. I think all four trucks were listed. Looks like two sold. They are both nice trucks.

Very nice! Good luck selling.

Enjoy and have many more happy and healthy ones.

Heartfelt condolences to you and your family. The pain of losing your Mom will pass but the memories will last forever. You have a great story and pictures as a forever reminder. Thanks for sharing.

That's a neat old truck. Bulldog location is different.

Plus you just told everyone you want 18,500, but you’d take 2500
That's a good point. Very useful negotiating tool.

That's good news. Thanks.

The draglink end is still stuck on the pitman arm and has not budged. I smacked the side with the 4lb and nothing. I then flipped the castle nut and hit it repeatedly and still nothing. I even tried some heat and that did is make the grease smoke
Any ideas?
The good news is I was able to unscrew the control valve by hand after removing the clamp
This afternoon the control valve was delivered to garrison for rebuild or remanufacure.
They said almost all the parts are still available. If the valve is leaking through the spool they said usually the bore cannot be honed and must be replacedThat's good news. Did they give any idea as to turn around time?

I'll be curious to see if they can rebuild the unit. I have the same set up. It works fine but has multiple leaks.

I used them in the past for Probe GT parts. Good source.

Welcome and good luck hunting.

OUCH! Those big wreckers don't come cheap.

Chances are that power steering unit is a Garrison. The unit behind the left wheel is the steering valve and the one attaching to the tie rod is the power assist cylinder. Garrison is located in CA. They have a website (http://garrisonmfg.com/) and their phone number is 714-549-4880.
