Do you have any Black interior parts?

Superdog, what is the deal with the gold V8 emblems? Were they all gold?
-
I'm good with trusting you with one.
That is as soon as get my hands on one!!!

I'm with you on the quick couplers and the law. I know on my lowboy, when you break the trailer apart, the airlines have a quick couplers that has a lock on it that has to line up to get them apart.depending on local and state laws the quick couplers could be a no no, unless you can find some with a d.o.t. approval ......
I know plumb stupid, but have been told that if it don't have a dot approval you could be in trouble if the right person sues you. you can do double glad hands and that's ok

That is intake manifolds, not exhaust.

Superdog, any luck on the V-8 emblems?

When an oil cooler goes bad, oil pressure is higher than water pressure. It will push oil into the coolant system and show up in the radiator. Sounds like maybe just condensation.

I remember someone on this site was talking about scanning a V8 emblem and maybe making a decal the same size. Does anyone know who that was? Did they ever try? It might be a way to go until the right emblems are found. I've looked at some online that would be close but I would have to glue them on as I wouldn't want to drill more holes and I'm sure they wouldn't line up.

I too got an email from McDevitt. He said the same thing. So the search goes on.

I too was trying to buy it but was in fear of what it would cost to get it home. I see the V8 emblems are missing then, so someone got them while it was in storage.

I need a pair of V8 emblems for my B755. Looking to buy or maybe trade, I have a lot of B model and superliner parts.

Does anyone have two V8 emblems they want to part with? I looked around on the internet and found nothing.
-
Do you know if they are the same as the superliner V8 emblems?

When they run away, you can't get it into any gear. Had a friend loose a motor in an Rd a few years ago, could not get it into any gear. Ended up losing the motor. The only hope you have is to take away the air, block the air cleaner.Snub it off by putting it in high gear and let the clutch out while holding the brake.

There was a company that took several T/A's (I think around 50) and modified them. They each had their own car number on the outside. Engines were tuned up in H/P. Special markings like lower front fenders graphics, seats, carpeting, and I think the gas cap door. If I remember right, they bought the rights to use the Bandit name. I had a 1981 Turbo T/A and I really loved that car. That is the only car I regret selling. It was not a Bandit but it was black with the gold interior, gold bird on the hood. You are correct on the chevy motor for the bridge jump. They needed more h/p to make the car get enough speed to make the jump.

Check for power at the dimmer switch plug. I've seen the power wire get corroded from the heat of power running through the wires and over time, you loose connection.

Because I like the E9 so much, I've seen the parts of the motor on Ebay for a while. This was the first time I looked at the ad, and saw the other picture. and I thought I was on top of things?

I had that happen on mine. Blowing back may work but if it blocks again, you'll have to clean the drain pan under the cores. If there is a lot of dirt in it, it will block back up again.
