Went last year with BCR Al and a couple others and we all had a blast. Great show. Don't know if I liked the show trucks more or all the old iron
around there more. To any Mack fan that has never been it is well worth the trip. Can't make it this year but hope to be back in the future.

Want to say it almost looks like an Akerman.
I took that a couple years ago and I can't remember, but I can bet its still in the same spot.

Since the Government isn't providing all services we all get a tax break right? Ha!

If somebody is going to steal from me they'd best pray I don't catch 'em in the act, as it'd get 'em a 1-way ticket straight to the morgue. If I felt inclined to do so, they might get to go for a swim instead...but either way, they'd be explaining to the man upstairs why they were unable to keep his 8th Commandment. Not many folks lower than a thief in my book...maybe child molesters, politicians, and crooked cops...but that's about it. The more I think about this happening just up the road, the more pissed off I'm getting...there is a gun show is in town this weekend...think I'll go wander around for a while.
My buddy was feeling the same way, the more he thinks about it the more he gets pissed about it. The tirds that stole this stuff are doing more
than just stealing, they're messing with a person and business's lively hood.

I just saw this, you gotta be shittin'me! what the hell is wrong with people! something like this can put an O/O out of business right damn now! effing ridiculous!...........................Mark
You got that right about the o/o thing. As it is my friends company he works at is only a 15 truck fleet and two of them were in the shop
this week for other issues, so this really screwed them over, they are not afraid to buy nice trucks but they definitely don't need to be
replacing stuff like this. They have a deductible on their insurance like everybody else, plus they had to bobtail another truck down there
to get this one, so even if insurance picks up most of this they are still gonna have to come up with a few grand to cover the rest and
now KW is saying it could be up to 30 days before the new doors arrive. That could easily end an o/o business.

Ah,the Paymaster! pretty big flop! I been doing a little reading up on them, kinda interesting story actually! most were powered by the "Nine-O-Nothin'" (VT-903 Cummins) supposedly a lot of them ended up in Chicagoland? I never knew there was a sleeper version offered till just recently.......................Mark

There used to be one in Mayflower colors parked in a storage lot in Crystal Lake at 31 and 14 for many years but I have not seen it recently,
I think the Ryder truck I posted is owned or at least borrowed by the I-80 group now.

It's like a jeep, just drive with the doors off.
Seriously I have a feeling who ever stole the doors were taking them for something else. I doubt it was a random theft. Any surveillance cameras at the hotel?
He was parked in a side lot where the cameras were not facing. I guess they had some to the front but not to the back.

I'm not sure what's more shocking. That they stole the doors, the price to replace them or the fact you can still get an aux. trans....???(my old boss couldn't get one in "07/International)
Their other trucks have two speed rears, but with that you cannot have full lockers, so for the new one they got the aux trans for the lo lo out
of the mud and can have full lockers for better traction. They routinely haul up to 250,000lbs so they wanted the best of both worlds.

Are you shitting me!!!! Thats just what I want to wake up to in the morning to find. you got to have some big balls of steel to go about this. I'd never of even thought about snagging the doors
That's what I thought. It was still dark when my friend was walking to the truck and he was wondering why he could see the green light on the dash,
and it was because the damn doors were gone!

This is picture of my friends 2013 T800 wide hood Kenworth. He just got it earlier this year and it has all the bells
and whistles. 600 Cummins, 18speed Eaton with Aux trans, 4 axle, all durabrights, diamond plate full fenders, and
black painted to match cabinet with stainless doors, full lockers and the list goes on. He was moving some machinery
in Marion IL (way south) and parked at a hotel for the night only to walk out to the truck the next morning to find that
someone had stolen his doors. Stole the damn doors! Took his bluetooth and big wad of keys he had for machines
and a couple other things. He had to have the truck hauled back to the shop. The doors had power locks, windows,
moto mirror controls and keyless entry. They called Kenworth for replacements and got an even better suprize.
$13,500 to replace them. So if anybody comes across some like new, black Kenworth doors in the S. ILLINOIS area,
they're stolen!

Great looking truck. Nice work. I always wanted to make the R-model tanker from the Road Warrior. I always liked that truck
with the tall duel stacks. Was nice till Mel Gibson flopped it over. Be cool to have one in the states with right hand drive.

Yeah thats Cory's truck, the guys in the club all pitched in and bought the MH for him back in like 2008-09-10 something like that, that show must have been the 2011 show, that orange R model was Hoover Paving's lowboy tractor for probab ly 20 years and they replaced it with a freightliner, it has since sold to a third owner. Ill be at that show not this saturday but next and plan to get some pics.
Cool. I just talked to my friend and asked him if he was going to the show with his truck and he told me he sold it. He had a nice IH cabover and
he told me he was selling a trailer and a guy came over to look at it, he saw the IH, made my buddy and offer and he let it go. He said the guy
who bought it was from Chattanooga. Its no Mack, but I'll post a pic of the now Chattanooga IH.

A friend of mine moved to TN a couple years ago and he went to a Music City ATHS meeting and took a few pictures and sent
them to me. I think this show was Sept 2011. I think he took these with the phone and they were a little smaller for some reason,
but you guys will figure it out. If I remember correctly it seems like their was a story in the Wheels of Time about that MH and how
the club pitched in and bought the guy that truck because he was the Pres. of the club and didn't have a truck. Think the story was
from a couple years ago.

Thankyou. Sure are beautiful trucks. I would like to talk to someone at this company to ask how he is getting his parts. I'm struggling to keep one Cruiseliner going. They have an interesting set up. That one truck on the end of line up looks like an 83 but it has the front flush mount directional. I was under the impression that only the 75's did that. i'm sure none of the "east coast" Cruiseliners did that.
I hear ya. I used to haul up to Kohler and Sheboygan WI quite a bit and I would always see one of these trucks and I thought it was cool
that somebody was still running a Cruiseliner, but little did I realize is that there was a bunch of them that I was seeing. Not until I saw them
all roll into this truck show did I realize I had seen a bunch of different trucks. My first thought also was how is he keeping them going, it is
hard enough as an O/O let alone having drivers in them, but more power to him and the best of luck to you, its always cool to see old iron
still running down the road.

I have that Phantom 309 shirt, don't care much for the song but I do love the shirt.

A friend of mine took this pic last year of these dozers lined up in the morning getting ready to roll. He was running the one
with the bigger blade. All three were knocking down a huge wood chip pile that started on fire. They had to spread it out while
several different fire departments were there to put out the fire.
