Papatrucker, if that truck runs decent and is driveable, $25k might be a good price. The pictures look good; is the truck as nice as the pictures? As always, try to haggle a little on the price!
Here is papatrucker6's post with photos.

I hope you're looking under things with a flashlight before you pull them out, just in case there are any dead bodies in there. If you find Jimmy Hoffa, let us know.

So what's a road goat...a whitetail?

7.75 mpg! That's bad...I thought 9 mpg in my truck was bad.

My dad's F models used to rust out above the step like that one is.

I sure like those rear fenders.

Nice pictures! Which park is that?

Amen to that...I'll be looking for some good 10-20s in a year or so.

St. Johnsbury had a terminal here in Columbus Ohio...I used to do their daily repairs back in the mid 80's. I believe the local trucks they had here were U models.

Nice looking motor! With that block heater, looks like you're planning to run this truck in the winter. Will that paint on the manifold hold up to exhaust heat? Is it just hi-temp paint?

The detail on those is amazing! How long did it take to build this one?

Do you think it's from a Mack? I don't need it; does anybody want it (free, you pay shipping)?

66, you do some nice work! If the Trajan doesn't use an abrasive wheel, what type of wheel does it use?

That's a great website. Looks like some quality work you've done on those trucks.

Definitely looks like a good one to save! I hope things go well getting it back together and on the road.

I'm sure, but he understands. I thought about suing the city for cutting the post off like that, but they would probably argue that I shouldn't have been driving all up in the grass to start with.
When I got back Jeff told me that when I sued them to get him enough for a new tire. Then he said I should have tripped over it and sued, so I asked him why he didn't think of that plan Sunday night, or I would have.
That post will tear a mower all to pieces too.
Yeah, and when the mower hits it the pieces could come out and hurt someone. Anybody who would leave a post like that should be smacked.

I ran a 3208 in an L8000 fuel peddler, used oil from new and 5 mpg... replaced with a 5.9 cummins @ 230hp in a FL70... what an improvement in every way imaginable
The 6BT Cummins is an excellent motor.

What is the 34 years you're talking about?

A couple of very sharp looking trucks on the ATHS website. There's also a '53 Sterling chain drive listed.
