was the wiper motor above the windshield or under dash.I have a Mack ad of a fleet of B63 log trucks that had wipers on top of windshield. No holes in cowl to indicate that it was a owners job.Very rare to look at.

The first ones had 12V71s with Allison 5960's then they went to KTA's with the 6061 Allisons. They were built and designed for Menzie Bay Div of MacMiillan Bloedel just north of Cambell River B C .I think there was 29 built in total.A lot of them are still hauling logs at the north end of Vancouver Island and Queen Charletts. All were built in Ontario plant as cab and chassis then came to Vancouver to be fitted for water tanks, bunks and trailers at Columbia Trailer.

Hayes used the F model cabover cab.Mack called it the Interstater and Hayes called it the Clipper. One here in town, couple up Island.Rusted out fairly fast here same as the Budd cab rusted out ahead of there time.

why with 605 hp would you put 9.59 rear ratio in it.Lots of power to ground but slow.my lj has 9.02s 11.00x22 tires .78 in main and .813 in a box and the only way i can get to 50 is in mexican od.
-
the CAT looks like a U model mack
-
thats a long way from a Pete cab.closer to KW.They were made the same place as the first series WESTCOASTER
-
what letter is after the 4 didget number on browny.the letter will tell you what ratio it has in 3rd.the letter C is .75 overdrive.engine swap should go smoothly.

too hard on tires and too big a fuel guzzle (or too much lead in foot)and always talking to the judge.55 to 58 chev's are mine
