  1. Found this one on here someone posted it from CL in Colorado. Worked out a deal and she made it to my place last night in the dark. Was going to go get her a couple weeks ago but the weather was getting tricky and cold and did not want to have problems out in the middle of Kansas with the wind blowing and 30 below. She is pretty straight has a cummins and a 13 speed the cab is complete and looks like it will need some elbow grease and warm weather but I think it will clean up, all the doors and windows seem to work and so does the radio. Need to rotate the fuel tanks a little, I think they were turned up to prevent stealing but not for sure. It will also need some front tires before long.
  2. maybe the air pushing in the air horn while driving is creating resistance and you don't have enough air pressure coming from the air line to the horn to over come it. What I have found on some air horns is they may stick or get stiff but should work if not leaking air. Sometimes I just blast the horn for awhile and it starts with squeaks and squawks until it frees up than will work fine.
  3. you probably answered your own question there is different breakers under the dash I don't have a wire schematic for your truck or know if someone in the past made some changes but I would start there where you hear the clicking. If you don't use the truck that much may be corroded, some mice may have tried to help you rewire and the wiring may need replaced and repaired or just need to replace the breaker.
  4. My two cents, if I had to work like hell for 6-8 months a year and make good money and know when I am going to have some time off I would rather do that than work 6 to 7 days a week 10-12 hours a day and never know or only get 1 to 2 weeks off. I would budget it for the lean months and park my camper next to the boss's in the Florida Keys. My in-laws did that every year and my wife went to school starting in Kindergarten from Thanksgiving to Easter in Florida, they lived at Sunshine Key mile marker 39. Or find you could always find a corporate job. When my wife retires from her Job I want to do that to, make the annual migration to warm winter days. You can be poor anywhere why not be WARM!
  5. Filters will probably do the trick and if you can see in the tank check for trash
  6. Good luck hope it works out for you. Maybe you can find a happy medium without being worked to death.
