Atca National Meet - 2009

Mother Nature sure didn't want us to get together this weekend!

The 2009 ATCA National Meet in "Macspongie" will certainly be hailed as a memorable event. Even with the dreary weather, the final number of trucks was 464. We are thrilled with the attendance and can only imagine what the turnout would have been with nice weather.

The dominant topic of discussion was about how many enthusiasts were walking around in the rain with smiles on their faces. Hundreds of people were soaking wet, some with umbrellas, most not, smiling and having a great time. It just goes to show the enthusiasm and dedication that our members have for the ATCA. We really are "Truckin' Nuts".

Thanks to all for their patience, understanding and resilience.

Despite the weather, it was a great show! Our booth did well despite the decreased number of visitors. It is great to see support for the vendors that help keep the hobby going as well as the unstoppable support for the club and the trucks themselves! With this kind of dedication, the Antique Truck Hobby will be around to provide enjoyment for our kids and grand kids for a long time! :D
