The very best place for the info you need is the Bendix website.

They have systems diagrams, descriptions and functions outlined with parts

details and part numbers. Everything you could possibly want for information.

When you get to buying parts - watch for "knock-offs" and imitations by the Chinese.

There are some other good manufacturers, but Bendix is the best.

Good Luck -

Paul offers very good advice and you should download and print a diagram for your own usage when taking apart and reassembling the parts.

I have found it most cost effective to have the original brake shoes relined. I have had several shoes relined and was given the opportunity to pick the type of friction material best suited for my needs. Most parts houses will not offer that type of service for old or "non current" parts.

Good luck with your project.
