Im struggling to find the stamp on my gearbox. Any tips to where it might be?

Kinda confused of where its leaking. It just started leaking pretty bad on the motor side. Complete opposite side of the output shaft going to the pitman arm. The oil is not leaking around the top shaft or the big output shaft. Would like to try and do a seal kit before a reman. There is already 1 tag that says its a reman but with no part numbers. Any tips or idea appreciated.

Is it a sheppard steering box.   I think you can leave it mounted, and pull the sector shaft out to replace the rear seal.  Its been a while for me..

on a Shepperd  there is a also a weep hole on the cover ! you can tap it out 1/8 pipe tap and put a plug there it would hurt any thing ! If that's where the oil is coming from!
