Hello. I have an early teens 613 with an MP8. The truck has 200 K miles on it. It will read the cam sensor intermediately. Sometimes it will start easily, others it cranks hard and Power is reduced. We have done the following:

Replaced both the cam and crank shaft sensor (twice), Swapped ECM, Swapped Wiring Harness, the truck has been deleted, we have flashed the computer and put a new delete program in it, removed transmission and checked timing.  Still, have the issue.  Best guess is that the cam or crank is walking out of the reach of the sensor. Can anyone help me?  I’m sick of spending money on it. We have had it to 3 mechanics in the last 18 month. It is obvious this has been a recurring issue that can’t be resolved.

ok. I know from experience that you can get those 2 and the EGR plugs mixed up. It boggles my mind as to why they would make those plugs the same..  I bet you got pretty good at removing the interior panels to get the doghouse out.
