One way to tell the difference between V-Mac 1 and 2 is... if the gauges shut off instantly when you turn the ign off.  It's V-Mac 1.  If it has a delay, it's 2

They turn off instantly

I am really rusty. 25 years ago, I was using a Pro-Link 9000, for the most basic reasons.  I don't remember looking at saved miles. Sorry, I can't say with 100% confidence. But I believe V-Mac3 was the first VCM to have it.

Well I’m guessing if you guys don’t know there’s no way Mack will. Last I talked to my closest dealer I can’t remember what about but I could tell they knew virtually nothing about this era of trucks. Not a real big deal either way, just figured I’d set it and/or record it if possible
