ENDT675 air compressor oil feed tube

I have a 1977 DM, with a ENDT675, I removed the Haldex/Midland 1300, sent it off for repair, and then I read on one of the forums here, "Don't forget the oil feed tube."

Either:

a.  I didn't notice, the tube came out with the compressor, and I didn't get it back from the rebuilder

b.  It never had one to begin with.

Do I need one, evidently either a SM151, or SM 151a?  I have found both, I guess I can try to fit one when the compressor comes back the second time (it leaked coolant out the head gasket).  Or is it good without an oil feed tube?

Thank y'all for the advice.
