sjangeley Posted October 13, 2023 Share Posted October 13, 2023 hey guys, have a 2020 LR with an MP7 in it. truck a few weeks ago was filled with DEF fluid in fuel tank. drained tank and had changed the filters, they drove it for about a week with no issues. then it came back with codes for injectors 1, 2 & 3 with open circuit. well traced it back and found pin 1 on injector 2 was shorting out that whole bank. so replaced cylinder 2 injectors, programmed new flow rate no issues and cleared codes. start the truck and now it's setting a P02CF - Cylinder 2 Fuel Injector Offset Learning At Max Limit. checked with cylinder balance test and it's not registering injector 2 and also did a compression test for cylinder 2 and it's showing 11% with tech tool. almost seems like I'm missing something as to programming the new injector and the ECM just isn't registering it, any input or ideas? Mackpro Posted October 13, 2023 Share Posted October 13, 2023 On the common rail engines, every time we had DEF in the fuel we ended up having to replace all 6 injectors and flush out the complete fuel system.
