Id say you can't go wrong with a ten speed but they both look like they have about a 34% slope per gear.

Thanx for the chart, from the chart I like the gear ratio in the 10 speed, it’s low gear first and reverse is deeper than the 8ll, and the gears are stronger so the Mack should be more aggressive in the hills with load
