davehummell Posted March 10, 2020 Share Posted March 10, 2020 I started the engine and let the oil get sloshed around in the trans and when i run the main in gear it allows some oil to come out of the shift tower where the ball socket and lever is. I don't think that little rubber dirt boot will hold back the oil i didn't have the boot on yet. I did not over fill the trans and i used 80-90 gear oil i didn't think you would need the synthetic 50w oil like is called for today's trans. Any ideas?
