Matt Ellis Posted August 30, 2017 Share Posted August 30, 2017 I have an 84 DM I just put a Fuller 8LL transmission in and the transmission is set up for an electric speedometer. I have a 6mt448p2 speedometer head out of a newer Dm I want to use but no one can tell me which wires hook up to the speedometer I wondered if anyone could help. The transmission is a RTOF14908LL and has 3 wires on the sender, a white wire, green with yellow stripe and a bare ground. The speedometer has a plug with 6 pins but only 5 wires. one black the rest white. If anyone has a picture of the back of the plug and a diagram showing which wire goes where that would be great. I also need to know how to set the dip switches. I have 24.5 tires on it with 4.50 gear ratio. Thanks for any help you can give. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Just try the sending unit wires, This was done the same way to my truck years ago. Post is located here on second page of this section, last date May 15.
