Engine code. DTC P245364

Bigl

Question

Any ideas. This code is staying on. Tried to reset by shutting off batteries. Last week had it in at a dealer for different after treatment codes and they couldn't find anything except for a 360 dollar bill for me. Those codes however were intermittent.   The one I have now has been on for 2 days.

P2453 is a DPF differential pressure sensor plausibility check. There are two parts for the check, key off and a high flow condition while running. It's a sensor check so start by replacing the sensor. It's not a check on how full your filter is.

Anytime we see any code with "plausibility " in the definition, it's usually software related.  We always update the engine  ecm ( EMS) and the after treatment exhaust ECM (AMS) anytime we're troubleshooting a emissions fault. And software updates are covered under warranty for 2 years/250,000.
