c-mac Posted June 3, 2016 Share Posted June 3, 2016 (edited) Just finished replacing cups and injectors in an 08 MP7. Now about to run the overhead. Its is stamped different than the MP8's I have done. an 8 would have 3 E 4, #3 intake and injector, # 4 exhaust. This 7 says 3 V 4. is this the same? Also do you line it up by the the first number that appears to have a line through it or the line after the last number? 3 V 4 l example. couldnt make a line through the 3. Oh and one other thing, Is the adjustment for the injector, screw center bolt down until contact then tighten 4 flats and tighten jam nut, Iike an MP8? steeler Posted June 4, 2016 Share Posted June 4, 2016 Adjust the intake valves and injectors on camshaft markings 1-6. Adjust exhaust valves on camshaft markings with a "v" before the number.
