I know it has a egr, and cooler and it seams that was a potential problem. I know to stay away from the 03-04 engines but were things worked out by 06? bbigrig Posted January 18, 2016 Share Posted January 18, 2016 Same basic engine as the E-Tech (98-2003) engine. They added and EGR valve, EGR cooler, more sensors, vane turbo, bigger cooling system and more hassles.
