PaulR Posted March 20, 2015 Share Posted March 20, 2015 Hi to all! I'm Paul and need help on 1999 Mack E7 460 engine I'm rebuilding. Truck was bought with deferent engine, the current engine that's on it now has no more tag plate only number I have is the S/N on the block 7S1731 but the dealer need the 11GB number or assembly number from the tag. I called Mack tech support and they told me that they can't go with engine S/N they need the vin of truck? Hoping somebody can point me in the right direction where to find the 11gb number other than the valve cover. Thanks!!! Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
farmer52 Posted March 20, 2015 Share Posted March 20, 2015 Send a note to the museum with your VIN. They likely will be able to give you the serial numbers of the components.
