My new turbo has a smaller diameter inlet on it coming from the intercooler then my old one. The pipes should be from 91 and newer. gearhead204 Posted March 20, 2015 Share Posted March 20, 2015 i had the same issue when i repowered mine the newer turbo was smaller, i took the eng. out of a CL700 so if you could find a wrecked one that would work. Or find a wrecked e7 with the correct size pipe and then have a machine shop fab. the two pipes together. i dont know if mack parts carrys the cl 700 pipe still. rsb502 Posted March 30, 2015 Share Posted March 30, 2015 Which turbo do you have and which truck do you have, the intercooler pipes and hoses are different on 84 and older and 85 and newer trucks, there were also differences depending on which turbo you have.
